The Grammers didn’t have sex for TWO YEARS. When did it finally occur to them that something was wrong in their marriage?
Houston, you know you have a (landing) problem when you say of your relationship: “Something just didn’t click with us on an intimate level…but we were best friends”, as Camille Grammer did about her soon-to-be-divorced hubby Kelsey. If you and your man aren’t doing the deed, are you definitely having some serious red alert problems?
Answer: not necessarily. I know it feels like something might be wrong if you aren’t boinking like bunnies six times a day (and you had at the beginning of your relationship), but when you’ve been with someone for as long as Kelsey and Camille were together — over 13 years — your sexual drive becomes less aggressive. Granted, when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced on The View that she had her husband hadn’t done the deed in over two years, well, that’s a different problem, with a very different answer: namely, IT’S OVER!
Although sexual desire can be fleeting, if you don’t want to sleep with your boyfriend, hubby, partner, whatever at ALL then that should tell you something about how much you really want to be with him. And if he’s employing a no-bumping policy with you, then you’ve got even bigger problems. Men are created to crave sex more than we women do (for the most part). If he’s not interested at all, he’s either getting it somewhere else or turning to the other team. In most situations, I’d go with the former option.
In Kelsey and Camille’s situation, he was, indeed, cheating…with new fiancee Kayte Walsh. But when his own wife won’t even lie back and think of England (if you aren’t familiar with this phrase, click here) even once a YEAR, who can blame him for wanting out of the marriage?
Remember — if your man claims to be “tired” for over two months without once getting horizontal beneath the sheets, you’re in trouble. If he’s tired for two weeks at a time, let it go. He very well could just be exhausted from work, the gym or your insatiable desire, you tigress you.
