LAURA'S LOVE LIFE ADVICE: Should You Ever Wear Risque Clothing On A Date Like Kim Kardashian Did?

Does wearing a see-through blouse on a date like Kim did send the wrong message to a man?

It’s still early days for Kim Kardashian and her basketball player boyfriend Kris Humphries, so should the reality star be stepping out on a romantic date with her beau wearing a see-through blouse? And what should YOU wear for date-night with your new man?

The 30-year-old reality star stepped out on Jan. 18 with the New Jersey Nets forward wearing a top that left little to the imagination (you can see for yourself — just check out the photos…her ‘girls’ are hard to miss) for a double date night with sister Kourtney and her baby daddy Scott Disick. But is Kim’s risque look sexy or scandalous?

I’m going with the latter option here. Kim, what were you THINKING? If you’re – ahem – on the smaller side, it might be considered high fashion to wear such an outfit. But the well-endowed starlet just looks trampy in her see-through top, and when you’re in a brand new relationship, you might be giving your guy the wrong idea.

Trust me, you don’t want to look like a librarian on date night. You want to be casually sexy, and not be so blatant about what makes you hot. Leave something to the imagination!

The hottest outfit a girl can wear on a date (and trust me, this is foolproof) is casual. A white t-shirt or top, fitted blue jeans and heels or wedges will make you look like you aren’t trying too hard; a guy won’t be able to resist. If the occasion is fancier, like Kim’s dinner at Seraphina, then you need to upgrade from the jeans and T look. Remember to keep everything in proportion: if you’re wearing a low-cut top, then make sure the dress or skirt you’re wearing is modest to balance out the look. If you’re showing off your legs, cover up your chest. Show off one of your best assets, but not all.

At the end of the day, you want your new guy to like you all of who you are — not just for how you look!
