Newlyweds Shania Twain And Frederic Thiebaud Are Ready To Have A Baby!

There's a baby secret behind Shania and Frederic's surprise New Year's wedding. The couple can't wait to add a new addition to their family! Country songstress Shania Twain and her new husband Frederic Thiebaud are eager to have a baby very soon! Pals of the couple, who exchanged vows in Rincon, Puerto Rico on New Year's Day, say they are ready to start their own family! "Shania feels that having a baby with Frederic will make their new life complete," a friend tells the National Enquirer. "Ideally, she'd like to carry the child herself, but due to her age she hasn't ruled out having a surrogate or adopting."

Both Shania, 45, and Frederic, 40, have 9-year-old children with their exes — Shania’s son Eja with Mutt Lange and Frederic’s daughter Johanna with Marie-Anne Thiebaud. Mutt and Marie-Anne had an extramarital affair that eventually broke up both marriages, leading Shania and Frederic to find comfort in each other and end up falling in love.

As the Enquirer recently reported the couple planned to married this summer, but a friend says that after some soul searching, Shania and Frederic decided they wanted to try for a baby as soon as possible. “Her New Year’s wedding to Frederic symbolizes a new start for Shania,” the friend adds, “with a baby by year’s end!”
