Unlike previous seasons where contestants focused more on beating their competition than losing weight, Ana Alvarado says this season of Biggest Loser is all about getting healthy…not backstabbing!

It’s the eleventh season of The Biggest Loser and the hit NBC reality series is FINALLY going back to its roots…weight loss! For the last several years, we’ve watched contestants claw their way to the top of the pack, even at the sake of their own health and against trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels wishes. However, 50-year-old Ana Alvarado, the first castoff of the season, assures us sabotage and game playing isn’t a factor this year.

“It’s so weird. All of us kept encouraging one another,” Ana — who has lost 52 pounds since starting her weight loss journey on the show — told HollywoodLife.com Jan. 5.

“We all did that for one another. I never felt any kind of game playing. The girls on our team are just incredible. The Green team, Jay and Jen, they are incredibly strong. The purple team is strong and Courtney and her mother are great. Arthur works really hard. He struggles because he’s so big. Honestly, I never felt threatened.”

As much as we love hearing the contestants are like one, big happy family, we can’t help but hope there’s SOME drama. Peace and love only make good TV for so long! Who are YOUR favorites this season? Sound off below!
