Should the NFL have given Brett Favre a steeper fine than $50K? Tell us what you think!
Brett Favre was asking for trouble the day he sent naughty photos of his genitals in text messages to sports reporter Jenn Sterger and left harassing messages on her answering machine. However, was the NFL’s fine of $50,000 enough to make up for Brett‘s nasty mistakes? Brittny Gastineau, daughter of former Jets superstar Mark Gastineau, tells HollywoodLife.com, “No, definitely not!”
“I just think that it [the incident] shows his character,” Brittny explains. “It’s more than the money. He’s publicly so embarrassed now that he’s outed. It’s beyond the money.”
“The whole scandal unfolding is super embarrassing, especially when you were going around saying that you were such a good guy,” Brittny adds. “It’s one thing if he said, ‘Hey, listen, I’m not perfect. I do bad things.’ Just don’t say that you’re such a holy roller and then come out [with all this crap].”
And no, Brittny does not hold any grudges — even though Brett continually poked fun at her father while she was growing up. “Brett Favre said a lot of things about my dad, like how my dad shouldn’t hold the sack record and he was a bad guy,” she states. “I just think it’s all really funny now. I just laugh at it. You just got to be careful.”
