Kelly Bensimon and her two daughters give back to the place where they found their canine companion. The girls helped raise money for Animal Haven in Soho over the weekend.
‘Tis the season for giving and celebrities are getting in on the action! All bundled up in matching army green jackets, Real Housewives of New York‘s Kelly Bensimon and her daughters Sea, 12, and Thaddeus “Teddy,“ 10, raised money to support abandoned animals. The girls sold tons of yummy homemade treats at the Holiday Pet Party presented by Animal Haven and sponsored by Hartz on Saturday (December 4) in New York City. Kelly, 42, actually adopted a black lab mix named Chief from Animal Haven earlier this year so it’s nice that she and her kids are giving back!
“The great thing about Chief is that she was rescued in Missouri, but there’s actually pilots that devote their time to bring dogs all over the country to places that they know they will be able to be adopted,” Kelly said. “And so Chief and her siblings came to Animal Haven and now it’s a part of our family. Now she’s going to be a little Killoren Bensimon!” Aww! How cute!
