KIRSTIN SAYS: Arizona Comes Back From Africa & Callie Slams The Door In Her Face!
Hollywood Life
I’ve been dying for Arizona to come back from Africa, and the second she does, she’s not welcomed! Are you as confused as me?
After weeks upon weeks of plot development, big things finally happened on Grey’s Anatomy Dec. 2! Cristina has a breakthrough after going fishing, Teddy proposes to a terminally ill patient and Arizona returns from her trip to Africa…only to have Callie slam the door in her face…talk about juicy!
Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) go fishing. In short, it’s hysterical. Per usual, Cristina has researched every last detail about fishing and is bored with it immediately. She can’t keep her mouth shut for 30 seconds. “I can’t stop. I can’t turn my mind off,” she says, frustratingly when Derek tells her to shut up.
After catching a huge fish, Cristina breaks down. Essentially, it’s a major breakthrough. She’s going to be okay…she’ll be back in scrubs in no time. (Plus, I saw her in her scrubs in the preview for next week’s episode. Spoiler alert!)
Mark (Eric Dane and Callie (Sara Ramirez) are showering together during their sex fest. “Sex with you just makes me sad,” Callie says, admitting she’s pining over Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). “Last night when we were doing it, I was thinking about Lexie,” Mark retorts. These two are the best sex buddies of all time.
Can Mark and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) just get back together already? When they kiss in the bar, I see fireworks. Even though she had plans to get paged in time to leave her mandatory date with Mark, Lexie cancels it so she can spend time with him. All is right in Mark/Lexie Land.
Can we please talk about Denny 2.0? Teddy (Kim Raver) falls for Henry (Scott Foley), who is terminally ill with major tumors. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have insurance, so Teddy irrationally volunteers to marry him so he can qualify for her benefits. Is she nuts…is this just like Izzie and Denny?
Arizona’s back!! Finally!! She’s back. I’m so excited. I missed her. Not as much as Calle did, but wow. It feels so good to see her smiling face. Of course, I figure Callie will be thrilled to see her. Wait, why isn’t Callie smiling? Why did she slam the door in her face? I can’t deal with this. Such drama!
