Celebrity Hairstylists Tell Jennifer Aniston How To Change Her Signature Hairstyle!

Chelsea Handler thinks the actress should change her signature ‘do! We went to the experts for suggested hairstyles!

Yesterday I ran a gallery of suggested celebrity hairstyles for everyone’s favorite Friend, Jennifer Aniston. Chelsea Handler thinks she needs to change her hairstyle and I have to say that I agree! But what do the experts say? I called two celebrity stylists to get their take on what Jen should do to her ‘do:

Both agree that Jennifer has amazing hair (as would most of us) but both made great suggestions as to how she can switch it up:

TRESemme celebrity stylist Jeannie Syfu (who has worked with Kristin Cavallari and Sandra Bullock) understands that old hair can hold “old energy” and even the slightest change can make a great difference. Jeannie says, “I would suggest a longer textured bob, keeping the length around her face (since she looks amazing with a middle part) and letting the cut just dust her collar bone, adding some graduation through the back with a slight A-line shape for fullness and swing. This would still give her options to wear it different ways, but it would give her a “new” cut with a modern, fresh and sexy look!”

Matt Fugate, celebrity hairstylist at the Sally Hershberger Downtown in NYC, regularly works his magic on such well-coiffed stars as Blake Lively and Claire Danes and he has three suggestions for the actress:

  • Heavy-but-choppy fringe bangs (think Nicole Richie or Reese Witherspoon) are a great way to instantly change up a hairstyle. They also enable you to keep your length, but it will update all her style variations *(ponytails, braided looks, etc.)
  • A glamorous bob (like Scarlett Johansson) would be amazing, keeping the length slightly longer in the front and with flowing layers would look amazing (I’d razor cut it to soften the look.) I feel this would be an amazing short look on her that would once again have the nation wanting her hair.
  • If she didnt want to lose all her length, then you could cut her hair an extremely blunt-but-messy one length cut, hitting just at her collarbone and have her wear it tossled and loose. This would give her a sexy mod feel, keeping all layers long and sultry.

What do you think, BFFs? Do you think Jen Aniston needs to switch up her hair game or do you like it just the way it is? Vote now!
