Lindsay and her people claim the actress quit the production of the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic, but the director confirms she was fired and Malin is stepping in!
Things seem to have taken another turn for the worse for rehabbed starlet Lindsay Lohan as director Matthew Wilder has fired the actress from the upcoming film Inferno. Matthew told Radar Online, “We’ve fired Lindsay,” adding “we’ve already lined up somebody else who we are really happy with.” That someone being Malin Akerman, currently filming Wanderlust alongside Jennifer Aniston, according to Deadline.
Lindsay had been involved in Inferno since May of this year, when she attended the Cannes Film Festival to help secure funding for the project. This trip, and her subsequent delay in getting home for a mandatory court appearance, was the beginning of her seemingly endless downfall, which now finds the actress at Betty Ford.
Malin, 32, is best known for her roles in Couples Retreat, 27 Dresses and The Watchmen.
