After weeks of major shakeups, Grey’s Anatomy took a turn for the normal Nov. 11. Some patients in the hospital survived, others died and the doctors’ relationships were a complete and utter mess (per usual). However, Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) didn’t come crawling back to the hospital (like we thought she would) and April Kepner (Sarah Drew) finally let her guard down (and took her shirt off!). Other than that, the most exciting aspect of this week’s episode was next week’s preview! It looked nuts!
Cristina Yang’s (Sandra Oh) homecoming party looked like the most fun. I wanted to go. I also wished I could go on that kind of shopping spree in a furniture store. She bought the entire display for a whole room! “I have several credit cards and nothing to do!” she proclaimed. (Another one of my favorite parts was when Cristina cut Callie’s hair without any prep. She’s a surgeon, not a hair dresser!)
I knew April (Sarah Drew) and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) were going to get it on. She was like a dog in heat around him! Then they started to hook up and April lifted her arms up to take her shirt off like she was on a roller coaster. She was totally ready to lose her virginity.
Then disaster struck. “You wanna screw, let’s screw. You don’t, then get out,” Alex said. “I’m not going to hold your virgin hand and walk you through it, dammit.” WTF, Karev? Why was he so mean to poor April? As my friend said while we were watching, “I’ve hated April the whole time and now I feel badly. What is wrong with him?” Later when Jackson punched Alex in the face, we all rejoiced! He totally deserved it.
I love seeing scenes between Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) when they are attempting to keep their marriage sacred. “We have to make time for this,” Derek says as he’s trying to get in some “personal time” with his wife in the storage closet at the hospital. So sweet…love it.
Poor Doctor Bailey can’t get a break. Her patients keep dying, plus her number one attendant, Cristina, just quit. Although she’s having a crappy month, her advice to Jackson Avery was priceless. “Eat when you can, sleep when you can – and don’t screw with the pancreas!” she barked as she walked down the hall.
Callie and Mark living together is the sweetest thing! It’s true – it’s easier to be single together. However, the previews for next week freaked me out! Why are they hooking up? Is Callie going straight again? Quit playing games with my heart, Callie. You belong with Arizona!
Were you semi-bored with tonight’s episode? Did next week’s preview rock your world or totally freak you out?
Both Claire and Jamie Fraser are living in their own prisons 200 years apart. Claire is now trapped in a loveless marriage, pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor, and Jamie is just plain trapped in a cold prison with other Jacobite traitors.
‘Teen Wolf’ ended with one heck of an amazing episode. Our favorites like Stiles, Derek, Jackson, and more united in Beacon Hills to help Scott take down the Anuk-Ite and Gerard once and for all. The episode was full of so many epic moments.
