“Can I guess the sex? Would you mind?” Ellen asked the mom-to-be. “I would prefer not,” Mariah responded. An insider tells Hollybaby.com that 41-year-old Mariah and her hubby Nick Cannon, 30, are expecting a boy, but the couple has yet to confirm the sex of the baby. “They have little ‘things’,” Ellen says, obviously referring to a baby boy. “Well yes, but you can wait to see those things or you can not see those things,” Mariah said coyly.
Even Mariah isn’t immune to morning sickness!
Ellen then tried to get Mariah to reveal the sex by asking about the baby nursery, but Mariah just told the talk show host that there’s a little something called ‘gender-neutral!’ “I know you, you’re going to want pink if it’s a girl and blue if it’s a boy!” Mariah then said that she would never push pink on a girl! “You really think I’m going to go that hard with it? That’s how you get the exact opposite!” So, Ellen didn’t get Mariah to admit the sex of the baby, but one thing is for certain — if it is a girl, that baby is likely to have high heels on straight out of the womb!

“When that baby comes out, you’re going to have high heels on it like immediately. You’re going to slip tiny high-heeled shoes on that baby,” Ellen told Mariah. “What are you trying to insinuate? I don’t wear those things,” joked Mariah. The expectant mom has been trying to give flats a try, but giving up her stilettos is harder for Mariah than we think! She says she was born with curved feet and that she’s walked on her tippy toes all of her life! Now that will be one interesting trait if her baby really turns out to be a boy! Ellen met Mariah halfway and gave her a pair of pink slipper heels — of course, she loved them!
