Bryan Masche is in a lot of trouble for the incident that occurred last month, but experts say he might get off with just probation.
Raising Sextuplets dad Bryan Masche might have just received some good news. It seems the father of six, who was arrested on Sept. 11 after getting into a vicious verbal altercation with his wife, Jenny, has a good chance of avoiding jail time. Authorities say that even if the 32-year-old pleads guilty to the four charges against him (including threats to beat up his father-in-law, swearing at his wife, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest), none carry a mandatory jail sentence. “It’s a decision for the court,” Camp Verde, AZ, town prosecutor Carrie Kelly tells People.
After getting into a heated argument with his wife, Jenny, 35, Bryan was almost tasered by police before he was handcuffed and arrested. Jenny filed for legal separation just six days later, seeking sole custody of their six 3-year-olds.
Now, the case has been postponed to November 4, so that Bryan’s lawyer, Mark Hammond, can better prepare for the hearing. Because of the nature of the charges, a trial is not a sure thing. “No violence was present at all,” Bryan’s lawyer said. “This was an argument with raised voices.”
