It turns out Sister Wives depicts Kody and his wives exactly as they are. The childrens’ former teachers tell us Kody is a dedicated husband and his kids are really happy!
Even though Kody Brown and his family appear to be incredibly well adjusted on TLC’s docu-series Sister Wives, many people are still skeptical. But now a husband and wife in the Brown’s hometown of Lehi, Utah, tell HollywoodLife.com that Kody, his wives, and their 16 children couldn’t be happier with their polygamist lifestyle.
“What you see is what you get,” says a former teacher of the Browns’ children. “They are cool people and Kody is really dedicated and fair to his entire family. The kids love their dad and love their mom.”
The couple we spoke with used to teach at the private fundamentalist Mormon school where Kody currently sends his children. The weekly school schedule includes three days on-campus and two days of home schooling. Kody’s third wife, Christine, still teaches at the school.
“Christine is just a cool gal and I love her with all of my life,” says another teacher, who worked alongside Christine. “Kody does his best to be kind and considerate to all of the women. I’ve never heard Christine say negative things about her family, she is very loyal. I used to watch her with all of the kids … I even taught some of the girls in my art class. I couldn’t tell which were Christine’s kids because she was so motherly to all of them.”
Along with Christine, the couple we spoke with has also spent a considerable amount of time with Kody’s other wives, Meri, Janelle and even his bride-to-be Robyn.
“Robyn is a sweet girl, sweet as can be,” the couple tells us. “The kids are totally normal. They have their normal spats with each other but they always seemed pretty loving with each other.”
But our sources did reveal that they’re worried about Kody’s decision to broadcast his lifestyle to the world.
“We were worried, his best friend was worried … we didn’t want him to be prosecuted like he is now legally or even by the community,” they tell us.
Sister Wives brought in 2.3 million viewers in its Sept. 26 season premiere alone, and HollywoodLife.com previously confirmed that TLC would continue filming even if Kody is sent to jail for violating polygamy laws.
