Spotted on the set of Gossip Girl: Blake Lively in full-on Serena Van Der Woodsen glam sporting her usual much-envied tresses and a new hot beauty trend: dark chocolate nails! The hue is a huge trend for Fall 2010 and something that you’ll want to get in on, like, right now. What other on-trend nail hues might you see the cast rocking this season? Check it out, BFFs…If Serena keeps with her deep, moody nail trend, she could also wear Essie Nail Polish in Little Brown Dress, which is a deep mink brown that will look dramatic and rich. Blair is more classic but her summer in Paris could have her craving a classic, deep red nail hue, like Givenchy Vernis Please! Nail Polish. Vanessa’s a little more bohemian, which could lead her to other fall trends like Rescue Beauty Lounge Nail Polish in Teal or a deep purple, like MAC Cosmetics Nail Lacquer in Dark Angel. Jenny needs dark and brooding hues, like Rescue Beauty Lounge Nail Lacquer in Black Russian, a ruby red-flecked black nail polish that’s as dramatic as it pretty or even Zoya Nail Lacquer in Envy, a blackened-green to go with this season’s continued military trend.I also have two picks that I hope show up on the show (a plea to stylist Eric Daman and beauty team.) Someone needs to wear Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Across the Universe, a dazzling Fashion Week favorite completely filled with perfect spheres of iridescent blues and greens in the sheerest navy lacquer to mimic the nighttime sky or the Lady Gaga-inspired Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Bad Romance, a blackened fuschia glitter polish.Which hues will the stars wear this season?
