We’ve got exclusive details on the latest apartment Cam & A-Rod have looked at — a duplex penthouse with a private terrace and SIX bedrooms… and they’re looking to RENT, not buy!
Cameron Diaz and NY Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez are already in negotiations to rent an apartment, HollywoodLife.com has learned, and they’ll have plenty of space to do … whatever it is they do together.
Three separate sources tell us that the couple are “looking seriously” at a duplex penthouse on the northern reaches of Manhattan’s Upper West Side. This 5,000-sq.-ft. apartment has two floors, 14-foot ceilings, six bedrooms, and a private terrace. And here’s the best part for the constantly-hounded CamRod, according to our sources: The building has VERY tight security to keep them shielded from the paps. (In case you forgot, Cam has been snapped by the paparazzi at Alex’s Central Park West pad at least four times in the last six months.)
The NY Post reported a couple weeks back that the couple was looking at a place in the Aldyn, a new building also uptown, but apartments there are only available to buy — so it looks like Cameron and A-Rod don’t want to get tied down with a big real estate purchase.
Given their romantic histories — remember, A-Rod was just house-hunting with Kate Hudson a year ago then broke up with her just weeks later as HL first reported — that’s probably a good idea.
