Lisa Wu Hartell may be out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but there are two new gals to replace her — Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks! Cynthia is a former model and actress while Phaedra is a lawyer in a relationship with a MUCH younger man, which is sure to bring the drama! Meet the new Housewives of Atlanta and let the DRAMA begin!
Former model and actress, Cynthia is the mother to 10-year-old Noelle. After high school, Cynthia moved to NYC to pursue a career in modeling. She quickly found herself strutting down the runways of Paris and Milan, gracing the covers of magazines such as Essence (this was her first gig ever) and even starring in a movie opposite Sandra Bernhardt. Cynthia also had a guest spot on The Cosby Show!
Cynthia joins the cast just as troubles with her boyfriend of three years, Peter Thomas, begin. He wants to get married, but she’s “only been engaged 3 times before!” Because of these issues, she connects with NeNe Leakes, who is also facing problems with her man.
When Phaedra joins the cast, the other housewives instantly gossip about her being married to a younger man, Apollo. And even though Phaedra owns a highly successful boutique law firm that caters to entertainers and athletes, the women can’t seem to look beyond the fact that Phaedra is a cougar. It doesn’t help that Apollo once served time in prison for a “white collar crime!”
Phaedra and Apollo are also expecting their first baby and when the season kicks off, shes knee deep in planning a baby shower. We wonder which of the housewives will be on the guest list!?
Also coming back for season three — the always entertaining Kim Zolciak , as well as Kandi Buruss and Sheree Whitfield.
