I'm Thanking My Lucky Stars Chelsea Handler Is Hosting The VMA's — She's Smart, Sassy & Totally Unpredictable!
It’s about time a strong female took the VMA stage — Chelsea is the first since Roseanne Bar in 1994!
No celebrity will be safe come September 12 when late night queen Chelsea Handler hosts MTV’s Video Music Awards – and I can’t wait to hear what’s going to come out of her mouth!
Seriously, is there a more perfect, more provocative person to call the young musicians of Hollywood on their BS than Chelsea? This is, after all, the woman who wrote a book called Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, drinks said vodka on stage during her routines, and refers to midgets as ‘nuggets.’ She has no boundaries – and that’s going to make for some seriously entertaining viewing.
So what can you expect? Sure, she may love VMA performer Justin Bieber, but our guess is she’ll a) make fun of his haircut or b) roast his relationship with Kim Kardashian. You’ll definitely see some Twilight jokes – so make sure you prepare yourself, Ashley Greene – and if she doesn’t make fun of Ke$ha‘s gold tooth, I’m turning off the TV.
This woman is my idea of the perfect host. She’s strong, funny and calls it like she sees it. A testament to that is the fact that she’s the first female to host the awards show since Roseanne Bar in 1994. Yep, she’s pretty much the cat’s pajamas. Her next stop – the Golden Globes!
