A spy tells HollywoodLife.com that two checked into Chicago’s Hard Rock Hotel together August 6; they flirted up a storm in the Cabo Wabo Tequila Lobby before heading up to their room. Oh yes, you read that right, BFFs, THEIR ROOM.

HOT! The two are in town for the Lollapalooza festival – and we know better than anyone what good music does for a relationship…it puts you in the mood!

We’re stoked that these Gossip cuties – who dated for a year before they split over Jessica’s reported infidelity – are getting back together. Recently rumors have swirled that Ed had been asking his Gossip Girl cast mates, among them Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, and Leighton Meester, to freeze out Jessica in hopes of getting her off the show.
