At the July 20 premiere of Zac’s new movie Charlie St. Cloud, legions of girls were screaming for Zac’s attention. But he only had one thing on his mind — his role model, Leo!
In a summer filled with action-packed blockbusters and animated behemoths, Zac Efron is mixing things up with the release of his new tear-jerking drama, Charlie St. Cloud. But there’s a method to his potentially risky maneuver, and it’s all thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio.
“Right now, Inception just came out.” Zac, 22 gushed to HollywoodLife.com at the premiere. “Leo, the way he has handled his whole career early on all the way until now, I really look up too and have a lot of respect to that.”
And Zac’s admiration of Leo certainly makes sense considering the more mature roles we’ve seen Zac in as of late.
Come to think of it, you never see Zac out partying, he has one of the strongest relationships in Hollywood (see Vanessa Hudgens) and as much as we love him in films like High School Musical and Hairspray, he’s never stereotyped himself the way many young actors do!
Reaching Leo’s level is a pretty lofty goal to strive for, but we think Zac has a great chance of achieving it. What do you think, HollywoodLifers?
