Dakota Fanning Looks All Grown Up On The August Cover Of 'Marie Claire' Where She Spills On Kissing Kristen Stewart!

The young star was totally cool with her first on-screen kiss, even if it was with her close gal pal K-Stew!

Dakota Fanning shows off an edgy, more grown up side in the August issue of Marie Claire, where the star spills on her image and growing up. The teen admits she definitely isn’t a kid anymore, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have some growing up to do!

“When you start out young, people get really attached to who you are at 6 years old,” Fanning says. ” I hope that The Runaways was kind of a moment to be like, ‘You know, I’m not that young little girl anymore, but I’m still not all grown up, either.”

Not only did Dakota take on a very adult role in The Runaways, but she also experienced her first ever on-screen kiss — and it was with her co-star and pal Kristen Stewart! “It’s out of the way, and it was with my friend and a girl – no pressure,” Fanning says. “It was not something Cherie [Currie] and Joan [Jett] ever really spoke about, and that’s how it was filmed – as not that big of a deal.”

I don’t know about you, but Dakota’s ability to be professional and her attitude towards her work is super impressive — and she looks amazing in her latest shoot!
