Letters to Juliet star Amanda Seyfried tells YOU how she stays fit and fabulous!
Amanda Seyfried is on a roll — since landing her role in Mean Girls more than six years ago, she hasn’t stopped working! But keeping in shape is key in Hollywood and Amanda explains how she stays fit in June’s Self issue.
“I work out with someone who makes it fun. Three days a week, I train with Harley Pasternak, who kicks my ass for 45 minutes,” Amanda, 24, says. “I run for about half an hour five days a week. On the weekends, I do pilates, which is all about stretching and toning my stomach and being long and lean.”
Want that bikini body? It’s not that easy! You also have to watch what you eat.
“Moderation is key. I just did a five-day raw-food diet, but I’ll never do that again. It’s really hard!” Amanda explains. “I’d wake up in the morning feeling great and go to bed feeling miserable, because dinner would be cucumbers, kale and dressing. I mean, at the end of the day, if you can’t have a Girl Scout cookie and a piece of cheese, what is life all about?”
We totally agree! Girl Scout cookies are delicious!
