As things heat up between Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz, the baseball player has taken certain steps to make sure his new relationship doesn’t end up like his old one!
Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez have become so close they even spent last weekend together on a romantic vacation to Boston, Mass., where his team, the Yankees were playing the Red Sox, reports People. But just like all things that seem too good to be true, this new relationship has some major strings attached.
A-Rod has apparently already set ground rules for their relationship, and Cam’s not allowed to come support him at his games. In other words, she’s been benched!
“He doesn’t want what happened to him and Kate to happen between him and Cameron,” a source told Betty Confidential. “Kate was at every New York game and then some and even went to Alex’s game practice. Things got too clingy too fast.”
Luckily, the 37-year-old actress — who hasn’t been super serious with anyone since she broke up with Justin Timberlake more than three years ago — is too busy shooting Bad Teacher and promoting her feature Knight and Day with Tom Cruise to care about whether or not she’s allowed to attend Alex’s games.
“Cameron is not really into baseball, so she wouldn’t want to go to all the games,” the source said. “She’s private, too. She has her own career going and she’s not going to give that up for anyone. And, right now she’s booked solid, so it works for the two of them.”
After seeing how poorly A-Rod, 34, treated his wife, as well as fling Madonna and most recent girlfriend Kate Hudson, we’re still not sold on this new couple. Get out now, Cam, before you get hurt!
