Springtime is a perfect season to ditch the blacks and greys for some pretty new hues.
If you haven’t gotten the memo yet, pretty, non-black hues are all the rage this spring. Not only are they super beautiful to look at, they’re also way easier to apply than hard-to-blend dark shadows. I am loving Kate Hudson‘s pretty purple peepers she sported at Chopard’s 150 years of excellence event at The Frick Collection in NYC on Apr. 29. The subtle lilac hue looks great with her golden tresses whereas a darker haired gal can definitely pull off an even bolder shade. For a more intense look, you should totally try out Jessica Alba‘s emerald shadow she wore to the Awards Night during the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival in NYC on Apr. 29. How gorgeous does the green shade look on both her top and lower lid lines? Are you planning on incorporating some unexpected colors into your makeup repertoire this season too? – Marta Topran
