The cast of Jersey Shore wants to move their show to South Beach. But there’s one problem … apparently nobody in Miami is welcoming the wild cast!
It looks like the crew of The Jersey Shore are going to have a tough time filming in South Beach! Thanks to the rowdy reputation of the cast — Mike “The Situation,” Pauly D, J-Woww, and of course, Snooki — MTV has drawn up some pretty intense location contracts.
So far, the show has attempted to film at swanky hotels like The W, The Mondrian, The Shore Club, and The Delano. (Could you imagine Snooki taking tequila shots while A-Rod tries to enjoy his lunch? Ha!)
But now even Riviera Beach’s Rapids Water Park has “banned Jersey Shore from filming on their properties,” according to The Palm Beach Post‘s Page2Live.
The location document “gives Snooki, JWoww, Mike The Situation’ and the others the right to do anything they want on a property whose owner signs — without any liability for producers, Double Guns LLC, and MTV!” according to Page2Live.
But the biggest deterrent is probably this: “For dramatic purposes, (producers) may make certain misrepresentations to you and others,” the contract reads. “The Project may be disparaging, embarrassing or of an otherwise unfavorable nature and may expose you, your business, your friends, your co-workers and/or your family to public ridicule, humiliation or condemnation.”
Maybe the lovable Jersey Shore cast should stick to the beaches they were brought up on. No publicity is bad publicity around Seaside Heights!
