Bethenny’s “I do” to Jason Hoppy means she’s finally a REAL Housewife!
She’s known as one of The Real Housewives of New York City, but Bethenny Frankel wasn’t really a wife until last night!
Bethenny married Jason Hoppy at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York last night, Mar. 28, and HollywoodLife.com was there! And after a night of eating, dancing, and nuptials, Bethenny tweeted this morning, “I’m a real housewife! On way to honeymoon. Best night of my life.”
We’re so happy for you Bethenny! And for you BFFs who missed the play-by-play coverage of her lavish wedding, we have ALL the details for you!
Bethenny’s big evening started at 5:08 pm, when she arrived at the Four Seasons with her hair in curlers, and wearing a white sweatsuit with the word “bride” written in glittery letters across her butt. Her fiancé arrived shortly, at about 6:00 pm.
The couple’s traditional Jewish wedding ceremony started promptly at 7:00 pm, and Bethenny’s 8 year-old dog, Cookie, acted as the ring barer!
The small guest list included 70 of Bethenny’s closest friends, including fellow Housewives Ramona Singer and her husband Mario, and Alex McCord and her husband Simon van Kempen. Today show host Hoda Kotb was there, too!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a gorgeous reception. According to Ramona, appetizers included caviar in carved out mini potatoes topped with sour cream, puff shells with egg yolk, and lobster with Sherry dipping sauce. For the main course, guests had a choice between Dover Sole or Filet Mignon.
Ramon also said, “The moment you walked in, drinks were served on silver platters.” Guests even received preferential treatment with special drink requests. Other sources also report that Bethenny asked the Four Seasons Restaurant to have the bar stocked with “almost two bottles per guest of Robert Mondavi Private Selection wines.”
According to a Four Seasons employee, the wedding ended sometime between midnight and 1:00 am. Ramona told us, “The music was great, we danced up a storm. And, So much love from everyone there filled the room.” Sounds like an amazing night! — Lindsey DiMattina
