It came down to a battle between major toy companies Hasbro & Mattel!
Surprise, surprise! Four days after HollywoodLife.com told you that Taylor Lautner would be dropping one of his scheduled movies to clear his busy schedule, NYMag.com is reporting that Taylor has decided to pull out of Max Steel! It was first reported Dec. 4 that Taylor would be portraying Mattel action figure Max Steel on the big screen, but when Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner saw Taylor do backflips on his Dec. 12 episode of Saturday Night Live, he knew he had to get Taylor to play Hasbro toy Stretch Armstrong! After months of messy back-and-forths, Taylor ultimately decided to turn down the role of Max Steel in favor of Stretch Armstrong.
NYMag.com reports that Taylor hammered the decision home by posing with the new Nerf Raider Blaster in Hasbro’s hospitality suite during the American International Toy Fair industry convention Feb. 16 in New York. The boy has made up his mind.
