While producers leave One Tree Hill’s fate in limbo, it’s star begs fans to keep the long-running series around for an 8th season
Save One Tree Hill! We’ve said it, and now, one of the CW show’s stars, Paul Johansson, is asking for YOUR help to save the flailing series.
“If the fans want this show, now is the time – more than ever – to make noise!” 46-year-old Paul, who plays James Lafferty’s dad Dan Scott on the long-running program, exclaimed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the “Get Lucky For Lupus” event in West Hollywood Feb. 25.
Paul adds, “Fans should contact the CW via email and say, ‘You should not cancel this show! We are loyal and love this show. Pick something else to cancel and keep this show! This show is a big thing, it makes the money.”
So if you want to see your favorite Hill stars like Sophia Bush, Stephen Colletti and Austin Nichols stick around for an eighth season, hear Paul’s plea – and don’t let One Tree Hill get the ax!
