Congrats, Padma! Despite all odds, you gave birth to healthy baby girl, Krishna, on Saturday!

Padma Lakshmi, 39, the gorgeous model and reality TV hostess of Bravo’s Top Chef is now a proud mommy! Padma — who suffers from the medical condition endometriosis — defied those who told her she would never even get pregnant, when she gave birth to a baby girl on Feb. 20!

Naming her little one Krishna, Padma’s baby was “a medical miracle,” her rep told Us Weekly.

Padma’s condition often causes infertility, and as HollywoodLife.com told you on Jan. 29, Padma was hospitalized for five days and her “baby was in serious danger.”

One puzzling aspect of this otherwise joyous occasion is that Padma has kept the identity of the baby’s father a secret. It was thought that Padma was dating business mogul Teddy Forstmann before and during her pregnancy, but Page Six recently reported that the baby’s father is actually Michael Dell — a “venture capitalist who teaches at Columbia Business School.”

We do know one thing for sure — this little lady is going to have one healthy appetite! — Chloe Melas
