“I would love to be Spiderman,” Joe, 20, confessed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Jan. 25, adding, “I’m looking for the perfect movie role, and [I’ll do] whatever comes by my way. I want to do it all.”
But could Joe hold his own among other top contenders Robert Pattinson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to fill three-time Spiderman star Tobey Maguire’s shoes? You be the judge.
Even if a career as a big-time movie star DOES work out for Joe, don’t worry–he won’t be abandoning his band. “I think we’re going to take time off for awhile now. We’ve been touring for two years and I think it’s nice to have a break where we can all do some different things,” he told Ryan, adding, “We definitely will [be back]. We love what we do and being in a band together. I think it’s nice to have a break so you can appreciate it more when you come back.”
And just for the record – there’s one person who’s company Joe is NOT appreciating as much as reports will have you believe. Nope, the Jonai isn’t romancing Hilary Duff.
“I was visiting my parents’ house. They live next door; their garages are just next to each other,” he explained. “Nick said ‘I’m gonna get rid of this rumor for you’ and I said ‘Naw, we’ll just let it ride for awhile.’”
Well played, Joe. And well said too: like a truly great actor. We think you just got one step closer to that Spiderman role…
