Get ready for a whole lot of love-making (and probably very little chance at finding real love) as your favorite Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants get it on under one roof.
What will happen when former unlucky-in-love Bachelors and Bachelorettes get locked in a house, have their lives taped and are forced to undergo a series of sweaty and physical competitions? We present to you ABC’s newest venture, Bachelor Pad, a project inspired by The Bachelor.
Expect to see 20 contestants from the previous 13 cycles of The Bachelor and five cycles of The Bachelorette as they live together under one roof, attempt to avoid getting evicted, and realize that close quarters are a good way to have hot hookups.
No word on which cast members will be back, but executive producer Martin Hilton says that many familiar faces, including formers winners and top players, are on board. And, of course, Bachelor host Chris Harrison is back to serve as emcee for the new show.
Our guess is that these former contestants are already adept at looking for love in all the wrong places (re: between the sheets) so we’re not holding out much hope for love connections. As for sexual activity? That’s a given. So get ready for lots and lots of boy-on-girl action come late summer, which is when ABC hopes to kick off the seven-episode series.
