The Golden-Globe nominated starlets revealed their unlikely friendship at an Audi-sponsored cocktail party in Hollywood Jan. 10 … When did these two become besties?!
It seems like the most random friendship in the world, but since shooting their upcoming comedy The Romantics in the fall, Glee‘s Dianna Agron and True Blood‘s leading lady Anna Paquin are new besties. The starlets were glued at the hip at Audi’s Golden Globe party in Hollywood at the Sunset Tower Hotel Jan. 10 and couldn’t stop raving about each other.
Their joyous reunion began as Dianna, 23, was chatting on the red carpet, and Anna, 27, rushed in from the cocktail party, greeting her younger friend with a huge hug. “Isn’t she amazing? She played my little sister!” the Golden Globe-nominated actress raved to on-lookers.
Anna and Dianna met in Nov. on set of The Romantics, an independent film centered around eight former college buddies who get together one night for their friend Lila‘s (Anna Paquin) wedding. (Talk about a star-studded cast! Fergie‘s husband, Josh Duhamel, plays Anna’s groom and Katie Holmes is her maid of honor, to name a few.)
When HollywoodLife.com asked Dianna (you know her as the cheerleader, Quinn Fabray, on the hit TV show, Glee) to describe Anna, she was at a loss for words. “Lovely, absolutely lovely,” she told us exclusively about her co-star. “It was so amazing the time that we had together.”
The new-found besties were inseparable for the rest of the night as they chatted outside by the pool and grabbed drinks from the bar, frequently hugging one another around the waist.
Surprising? Yes … but as they say, “opposites attract.” Even though Anna usually comes off as stoic, it seems like the perky Dianna really brings out her bubbly side!
