Who Should Replace Tyra When She Leaves In 2010? Vote For Your Choice!

Which of these seasoned celebs should take Tyra’s show?

How sad are you that Tyra Banks is leaving The Tyra Show after five years as the host?  Such a downer! BUT, there are plenty of celebrities who could rise up and take her place! Tyra is an influential voice for young women’s issues, never shying away from a topic for being too shocking or controversial — so she’ll need a replacement who isn’t afraid to ‘go there’ either. We’ve assembled a few choices for your consideration … and don’t be afraid to suggest one of your own!  It’s anyone’s game in this daytime TV free-for-all!

Kelly Ripa

As much as we love waking up to Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin‘s witty banter every morning, we think she’s paid her dues. It’s time for you to get your own talk show, Kelly! You’re a hot mom and viewers would love to hear your thoughts on real women’s issues. Plus, having hubby Mark Consuelos on as a guest every now and then wouldn’t hurt either!

Queen Latifah

Even when she gets glammed up for the red carpet, there’s still something about Queen Latifah that we can really relate to. She’s funny, she’s sassy and we bet she really knows how to work a crowd. We could see her becoming the new “Queen” of daytime.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has a lot of important things to say about life — but a reality show, Twitter account and personal blog are simply not enough venues to get her many thoughts out to the masses. And considering how very TMI she and her family are every week, just imagine the outrageous topics she’d want to talk about!

Paula Abdul

She’s certainly got a lot of free time on her hands now that she’s said bye bye to “American Idol.” And wouldn’t it be so ironic for her to make the leap to daytime TV, considering Ellen DeGeneres is the one replacing her on “Idol?” Maybe Ellen and Paula Abdul could give each other pointers for their new gigs!

Miss J. Alexander

OK, this one may be a stretch — but who better to replace Tyra than someone she’s known and worked with since she was 16 years old? Miss J. Alexander gives Tyra a run for her money in the diva department on “America’s Next Top Model,” and we think he would be a fierce addition to daytime TV!
