Seems like that’s what happened to Katy Perry and Russell Brand! A mere three months after the 34-year-old English comedian fell head-over-heels for 25-year-old rock star Katy, he reportedly proposed to her over the holiday…and committed to moving from his London home to the United States!
We reported on Dec. 11 that Russell was seen shopping for the perfect diamond at Cartier, but apparently, it wasn’t what Katy had in mind. When the recovering addict proposed over the holiday in London, Katy said yes to everything but the ring! (Don’t worry, Russell, if they can’t return it, we’ll gladly take it off your hands!)
Not only did the notorious rogue beg Katy to be his old ball and chain, he’s making the ultimate sacrifice by moving to his girl’s home country–he reportedly bought a $3.2 million mansion in Los Angeles over the holiday weekend. Boasting four bedrooms and a huge outdoor pool, the cozy hillside home has high-ceilings and awesome views of the city.
After spending a romantic Christmas in London, Katy and Russell are reportedly headed to New York for a traditional New Year’s Eve celebration. We can’t wait to see her ring in 2010 – and see the new ring! Can you?
