Thank goodness someone is spending time with the kids.
Even though there was drama between Charlie Sheen, 44, and wife Brooke Mueller, 32, over the holidays, at least their 9-month-old sons Max and Bob Sheen were being taken care of by a nanny.
While dad Charlie flew back to LA on Dec. 27 to repair his image and reportedly attend anger management classes, and mom Brooke stepped out in public for the first time since the domestic dispute, it’s good to know that at least someone cares about the kids — even if it IS just a nanny. The boys were strolled around in Aspen, Colorado, hopefully blithely unaware of the violent drama playing out between their parents.
The twins’ outing was just two days after their dad was arrested on Christmas morning after Brooke called 911 and told police that the Two and a Half Men star assaulted her. She reportedly rescinded her story before the bail hearing and said she was drunk when she made the emergency call, according to a report on TMZ, which also says the couple was given blood alcohol tests; Charlie registered a .04 while Brooke registered a .13.
Charlie — who, after being arrested for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, flew back to the couple’s LA home after being released from jail — will reportedly undergo couples counseling with Brooke, who remained in Aspen with the kids.
These poor kids. Our hearts go out to them.
