Hell hath no fury like an alleged mistress scorned!
In just a few hours, Rachel Uchitel, the first woman linked to Tiger Woods will reveal the truth about her relationship with the golfer — even though she’s aggressively denied having any involvement with him since last Friday.
Rachel Uchitel and her attorney Gloria Allred will hold a press conference at 2:30 pm EST/11:30 pm PST, and everyone expects she’ll finally admit to some kind of relationship. Allred says Rachel herself won’t be talking.
Sources tell HollywoodLife.com that once Rachel found out about Tiger’s other alleged women, “she was furious” and this pushed her over the edge — and then she started talking to friends and acquaintances about it, which sparked the chain of explosive revelations.
A prominent NYC relationship expert, Cooper Lawrence, agrees this is how it all happened: “The reason [Rachel could reveal the truth] is because she thought she was the only other woman, and when she found out there were others [she got angry] – when you think you’re the only other, you think he will leave his wife and go be with you – but then you realize you’re one of many!”
And Paul Catsandonis, a Manhattan lawyer with a long list of celeb clients, also concurs. “She feels she needs to get back at Tiger for cheating on her with other women. It could be motivated by a sense of vengefulness. She wants to get back at him for playing at her.”
TMZ reports this morning that it was Rachel who sparked the big Thanksgiving night firefight between Tiger and wife Elin Nordegren: Rachel and Tiger were allegedly texting each other “less than an hour before Tiger’s accident,” whereupon Elin snatched Tiger’s phone, and then Elin actually called Rachel to confront her! It all escalated quickly — and caused so much damage to the Woods’ home’s vestibule, that, according to TMZ, Tiger didn’t want cops to see it.
The whole world will be waiting to hear what Rachel says — and we’ll be all over it as it happens.
