Taylor Lautner dished exclusively to HollywoodLife.com last night that he and Kristen Stewart are real life BFFs!
Taylor told us that he and his co-star K-Stew got totally tight while filming the second series. “Yeah, Kristen and I became really good friends. We spent a lot of time together, working together, and talking,” he confessed at The Cinema Society and D & G hosting screening of New Moon. “We’re very open and honest with each other. And we tell each other everything.” So now, we have a complete real life situation mirroring film life — Kristen and Robert Pattinson are love mates like their characters, Edward and Bella, and Taylor and Kristen are best friends like Bella and Jacob.
In the meantime, Taylor was third man out after the screening when Kristen and R-Patz slipped away from the rest of the New Moon cast and guests, who did their post-screening after party at NYC club, The Box. The New Moon couple instead headed to small, intimate West Chelsea club, Avenue, where they retreated to an upstairs table, for privacy, according to E! Online.
Our sources say the two showed up at 1:30 am, and left together hand-in-hand a few hours later, when R-Patz tried to go incognito by hiding under a baseball cap and flipping up his collar. The costars couldn’t have been cozier, sitting side by side and whispering and laughing.
Why the couple has bothered to deny their romance for months — with R-Patz even walking off the Ryan Seacrest radio show when asked about his relationship with Kristen — is pretty puzzling. Kristen was sitting with him, stroking his back at Avenue, and the lovebirds hung out until after 3 am. Which maybe wasn’t such a good idea. When we talked to Kristen earlier at the screening, she looked completely exhausted and was literally shaking!
