Watch drama-major Caroline attempt to psychoanalyze her best friend’s ex. (One thing’s for sure; this crew definitely needs therapy!)
“Steroline” shippers rejoice! Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) get up close and personal in this brand-new clip from the Dec. 5 episode of The Vampire Diaries, as the younger Salvatore brother’s protégé vows to help him deal with that pesky PTSD he’s been wrestling with. She also makes sure to include a few jabs at Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in the midst of her genuine well-wishes for Stefan, but hey, what do you expect? This is Caroline we’re talking about.
In a cruel twist of irony, Klaus finally regained the home he’s wanted for centuries — only to be more divided from his own family than ever before.
Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) issues with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) escalated to an all-out war on the Nov. 26 episode of The Originals, forcing Rebekah (Claire Holt) to finally choose a side. Unfortunately for Vampire Barbie, she apparently chose wrong, as her brother was able to decimate Marcel’s li’l army without even breaking a sweat. Long live the king!
Much like countless other 20-somethings, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Nina Dobrev rang in the Thanksgiving holiday with friends, since her own family is far off in Canada. But unlike the rest of us, Nina’s best friend just so happens to be Julianne Hough — and she welcomed Nina into her family with open arms.
Nina Dobrev, 24, definitely has a lot of love in her life. Between her throngs of loyal Vampire Diaries fans and BFF Julianne Hough, 25, Nina showed the world she has a lot to be thankful for with a gaggle of gushing Instagram posts from her Nov. 24 pre-Thanksgiving bash with the Hough clan.
Plus, a long-anchored (pun intended) ship sets sail once again — and I’m already rooting for them.
No boyfriend was safe on the Nov. 21 episode of The Vampire Diaries, especially when pointy objects were involved. Not only did Katherine (Nina Dobrev) successfully purge Gregor from Matt’s body — God, I’m going to miss Zach Roerig‘s Czech accent — but her doppelganger also had a nasty encounter with Caroline’s (Candice Accola) new squeeze. Needless to say, there’s going to be a ton of Facebook status-changing tonight.
Plus, Elena is ‘horrified’ to discover what’s really going on at Whitmore College.
As if Damon (Ian Somerhalder) doesn’t have enough to deal with in the present, he’s about face a demon from his past — and it might have something to do with Aaron (Shaun Sipos)! The CW just released the official description of The Vampire Diaries‘ Dec. 12 episode, suspiciously titled “Fifty Shades Of Grayson,” revealing yet another chapter of Damon’s smolder-y history we know nothing about.
Browse new shots from the Dec. 12 episode and share your theories about Aaron!
Shaun Sipos‘ Aaron is one of the most mysterious new characters on The Vampire Diaries this season — and that’s saying a lot, considering how many new faces season five has introduced — but it looks like we’ll finally get some answers before the end of the year! New photos from the Dec. 12 episode, which I believe to be the midseason finale, have hit the web; and Aaron makes an appearance in every single one, including a rather tense-looking shot with Damon (Ian Somerhalder).
Three Ninas. Three deaths. One incredible episode.
I hope Nina Dobrev took a nice long nap after shooting the Nov. 14 episode of The Vampire Diaries, because that girl worked her butt off. In fact, she worked all three of her butts off, as the doppelgangers were the key components in Tessa’s (Janina Gavankar) spell to make Bonnie (Kat Graham) the new anchor to the other side. And while the ladies’ efforts paid off by the end of the hour, achieving their goal came at a price. A deadly price. Three people died!
Mr. Mikaelson is racking up some serious frequent flier miles! But what’s bringing him back to ‘The Vampire Diaries’?
Just when we started to get used to seeing Tyler (Michael Trevino) in the Big Easy, another Vampire Diaries/Originals crossover is reportedly on the way! Joseph Morgan‘s villain-ish Klaus will return to Mystic Falls before the show’s fifth season ends, TVGuide.com reports, though further details about his visit are being kept under wraps for now.
Vote for the brother you think Katherine is falling for, then drop a comment with your thoughts on the state of relationships in Mystic Falls.
The Salvatore brothers’ love lives are nothing if not complicated, but Nina Dobrev says things are about to get more twisted than ever, thanks to one of her three doppelganger characters intervening. Katherine apparently has a “lingering love for one of the brothers that we learn more about as episodes progress,” Nina recently told HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine. “Almost like Elena has chosen, Katherine has chosen, and we see that unfold.”
Jeremy tries to drop the L-bomb on this week’s ‘Vampire Diaries,’ but Bonnie quickly deflects his affections.
Dating a ghost is pretty much the worst. You can’t touch them, you can’t take selfies with them, and when a threat of “the other side” being destroyed arises, you’re forced to have super-awkward conversations with them — as evidenced in this new clip from the Nov. 14 episode of The Vampire Diaries.
‘Vampire Diaries’ stars past and present gathered Nov. 9 in Atlanta to celebrate 100 incredible episodes, and HollywoodLife.com has all the red carpet pics. Can you believe The Vampire Diaries has cranked out 100 episodes? It seems like only yesterday that Elena (Nina Dobrev) and “psychic” Bonnie (Kat Graham) were admiring the “hot back” of new-guy Stefan…
Tyler arrives in the Big Easy on the show’s Nov. 12 episode — and he’s not coming quietly!
It seems like only yesterday that Michael Trevino confirmed Tyler would be crossing over to The Originals, and now, we already have our first look at his epic face-off with Klaus (Joseph Morgan)! The promo, which first aired during the Nov. 7 episode of The Vampire Diaries, shows the werewolf and his former sire running straight at each other — and not in a beautiful, slow-motion kind of way.
Plus, is Katherine dying?! This was easily the craziest episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ to date, but I’m confident we can make sense of it. Together.
If you found yourself scratching your head during much of The Vampire Diaries‘ Nov. 7 episode, don’t feel too bad. It just means that, unlike most of the show’s characters, you’re human! It was a super-confusing hour, full of doppelgangers and “anchors” and Snooki references — and by the end, a familiar face returned to Mystic Falls to throw a nasty wrench in the gang’s plan to resurrect Bonnie (Kat Graham).
Plus, how is Nadia connected to that ‘Anchor’ we’ve heard so much about? Olga gives HollywoodLife.com the scoop!
You’ve got to love The Vampire Diaries. Just when you think you know everything about a character — in this case, Nina Dobrev‘s now-human Katherine — you find out (poof!) the daughter she thought she lost centuries ago is alive and well… and raising hell! Olga Fonda recently spoke with HollywoodLife.com about that mother of a twist, what we can expect from the mom-daughter duo, and what Nadia’s involvement is with the Travelers and the Anchor.
When news broke that ‘Vampire Diaries’ hunk Michael Trevino was leaving Mystic Falls for the slightly-less-green pastures of New Orleans, we were honestly relieved. Tyler’s time as Caroline’s beau was clearly coming to an end, and we all knew Tyler wouldn’t rest until Klaus was brought to justice for killing Tyler’s mother.
Luckily, the good news doesn’t stop there! HollywoodLife.com attended a screening of The Originals in Los Angeles on Nov. 4, and executive producer Julie Plec confirmed that Michael Trevino‘s big move — which will likely happen before the end of November — will answer many of the burning questions currently posed on The Originals. (And, of course, add a million more!)
