Wait a minute, who is that? In the trailer for ‘The Vampire Diaries’ season seven finale, Damon utters a name that gives us a little ping of hope/wondering/confusion for the return of Elena Gilbert.

Could that be? Could Elena Gilbert really be the “evil” Damon and Enzo are looking for inside the vault? We’re not sure how that would be, but in the new promo for The Vampire Diaries finale, airing this Friday the 13th, it sure appears that way. Watch it here.

The Gilberts will always be a family… and yes, ‘Vampire Diaries’ fans will agree with me. Elena and Jeremy reunited last weekend while at Coachella!

Elena Gilbert was always protective over her little bro, Jeremy — and now it looks like they’re partying together! Nina Dobrev ran into Steven R. McQueen while at weekend one of Coachella, and of course he snapped a photo. While neither are currently on The Vampire Dairies, we were pretty thrilled to see them back together as they were one of our favorite brother/sister duos ever.

Brace yourselves, ‘Vampire Diaries’ fans. Ian Somerhalder just dropped two huge bombshells. Not only is he recanting his statement about the show ending after Season 8 (hooray!), but he also says he’s leaving the show (boo!). Find out all the details here!

Forget everything Ian Somerhalder said about The Vampire Diaries ending after Season 8. He just took to Twitter and backtracked what he said on Sunday, April 10, blaming his end date comment on having a “foggy brain.” So it looks like TVD may be sticking around for longer than we thought, but even so, Ian says Season 8 will be his “last year.”
