Is Lea Michele ready to head on over to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital? The ‘Scream Queens’ star revealed in an interview with ‘Flare’ magazine that she’s just waiting for creator Shonda Rhimes to call so she can get on the show! Make it happen, Shonda!

Lea Michele, 28, really wants to go to Shondaland. The Scream Queens and Glee star has now made it known that she wants to be on Grey’s Anatomy. In her interview with Flare magazine, Lea said she’s ready to put on some scrubs and have a role alongside Meredith Grey and the rest of the docs on the hit medical drama.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Shonda Rhimes Is ‘Done’ With Izzie — Katherine Heigl Will Never Return

We can’t even handle this right now. Shonda Rhimes just squashed any hopes we had for Katherine Heigl returning to ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ During an interview with’s sister site TVLine, Shonda said she’s ‘done’ with Izzie Stevens and her storyline. Ugh.

First, Grey’s Anatomy boss Shonda Rhimes killed Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), and now, she just killed our dreams. During a recent interview, Shonda said she has absolutely no interest in bringing Katherine Heigl back to the series for any number of episodes. When asked about the possibility of Izzie Stevens returning, Shonda said “no,” shook her head and “shut the interviewer down hard.”

Shonda Rhimes has once again defended her decision to kill Derek off of ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ Actually, she claims it was the only possible option!

Well it is Shonda’s world and we’re all just living in it. Though it happened over three months ago, Grey’s Anatomy creator, Shonda Rhimes, is nowhere near finished having to explain the decision to kill off Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) after 11 years on the series. Speaking at the Television Critics Association on Aug. 4, Shonda explained why she felt it was the only way for the series to go, and why Derek’s death authenticates he and Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) eternal love.
