Nina Dobrev, 24, attended a slew of Super Bowl events in New Orleans leading up to the big game — and she seized the opportunity to flaunt her stellar style sense! The brown-haired, brown-eyed beauty looked simply stunning in two totally different dresses — but they had one thing in common. Both feminine frocks definitely had us doing a double take!

The Canadian starlet attended the 2013 NFL Honors Awards at Mahalia Jackson Theater on Feb. 3 showcasing a Zuhair Murad frock from the Spring 2013 collection. Her pretty pastel dress had a fun and flirty vibe, thanks to the lace overlay on the bodice and a geometric, floral pattern of the full skirt. The Vampire Diaries star finished off her sweet red carpet look with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps and a matching clutch. With her wavy hair cascading down her shoulders, the ensemble seemed so effortless and chic on Nina!

While the star pulled off the sweet frock flawlessly, the day before she smouldered in a seriously sexy dress. On Feb. 2 the star attended the 7th annual DIRECTV Super Saturday Night wearing French Connection’s Alicia Lace Flare dress, where she showed off a plunging black dress. With lace detailing covering the deep neckline the star pulled off the sexy look without it seeming too showy — this was anything but your basic LBD!

Two days, two great dresses! The young star really knows how to work the red carpet, and that’s exactly what she did while taking in slew of Super Bowl festivities. While the field was full of sweaty football jerseys, the red carpet was all about glamour!

Nina Dobrev turned up at Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego over the weekend, where she showed off not one, but two totally different looks. When she stepped out for the Camp Playboy Party, she donned a colorful, one-shoulder Dalia MacPhee ruffled chiffon dress ($298).

Nina kept the colorful theme alive, pairing the frock with purple Brian Atwood ‘Debra Due’ satin peep toes and a Raven Kauffman Couture clutch. I love this look on Nina — it’s young and fun, just like her!

The next time we saw Nina, she opted for something way more sexy and totally chic. Her clinging black lace Zuhair Murad resort 2011 dress was a signature look for the star — she loves showing off her fabulous figure in something lacy! She kept the colorful shoe trend going, this time wearing a red satin pair of Brian Atwood maniac pumps — they matched her lipstick!

While I’m all for a fun shoe, her colorful satin pumps were a bit much in my opinion — although they did say consistent with Nina’s style. While I think she looked stunning, I hope she starts stepping out of her comfort zone and starts taking some risks on the red carpet.

Which frock was your fave on the star?

Jennifer Lopez is a major diva, and she loves switching up her look when she goes from the red carpet to the stage — just like she did on Oct. 23 when she treated fans to a performance at the 32nd Annual Carousel Of Hope Ball at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills! First, she walked the carpet in a white one-shoulder sequin Georges Chakra gown from the designer’s spring 2010 collection. The couture creation was all about the detail, from the intricate accents to the sheer skirt and tulle train. While she definitely has the attitude to carry this get-up, that wasn’t the only look she showed off!

For her performance J. Lo let down her hair and slipped into another spring 2010 couture creation — this time, a long-sleeved mini by Zuhair Murad. The silver beaded frock showed off the singer’s toned legs and sexy shape, thanks strategis nude tulle cutouts. I definitely prefer this look to her red carpet get-up.

While she looked gorgeous in the gown, it was a little too costume-y for my taste — I think she should stick to the dramatic looks on stage, like she did with her mini. Regardless of which dress you think is best, there’s no denying the fact that the a-lister would ooze confidence if she were wearing a paper bag! Even though I wouldn’t want all stars to dress like J. Lo, I wouldn’t mind if they could all bring such presence to the red carpet!

Katy Perry‘s figure seems to be in perfect shape these days — with a new album and a wedding in the works I’m not surprised! Judging by the super-short dresses that she’s sporting while in NYC promoting Teenage Dream, those extra hours in the gym are definitely paying off. First, the singer showed off her feminine side in a baby blue floral frock and pale pink sweater on Aug. 24, before trading in her girly get-up for something sexier later that day — a coral Herve Leger by Max Azria mini, tribal earrings, and Christian Louboutin gold spiked heels.

While both little dresses looked amazing on the star, my fave dress on Katy was the pale pink Zuhair Murad fall 2010 couture– from the bow at the waist, the rosette detailing on the skirt, and the ankle strap peep-toes I thought she looked perfectly pretty. Not many stars can carry off this look without looking too cutesy or costumey but Katy looks lovely!

Almost as surefire as Jennifer Aniston wearing black on the red carpet, I would be willing to bet money on Kim Kardashian stepping out in some variation of the one shoulder dress — whether it’s an actual sleeve, a thin strap, or some form of an embellishment, I never thought the day would come when Kim would opt out of this particular style. Well, brace yourselves! It turns out, Kim is so over the trend.

Just two days after wearing a black, embellished one shoulder Zuhair Murad mini to the 2010 Teen Choice Awards she tweeted, “I’m officially retiring the one shoulder black dress #overit.”

Who wore the Zuhair Murad mini better?

When I first saw the black illusion beaded dress on Elizabeth Reaser at the Eclipse premiere in LA on Jun. 24, I couldn’t get over how sexy yet understated the get-up was! The star paired her look with Christian Louboutin Fetilo pumps. While the dress appears super sheer, the neckline and sleeves add a level of sophistication to the fun frock, so it’s no surprise it turned up on another red carpet just days after we first saw it!

Vivica A. Fox was the next gal to get glam in this get-up at the BET Awards in LA on Jun. 27, where she paired the look with a nude shoe. I’m having a hard time deciding who worked this dress best, because I think both ladies look lovely! Who do you think wore it better?
