Rosebud lips make any look prettier! The secret to pink lips that last is lip liner, but I wouldn’t go near the stuff for years!

Nicole Kidman has gorgeous lips that look full and pouty. To achieve this look and make it last all night, layer on a lip liner under your lipstick and gloss! Keep reading to see how my love affair with liner started.

Lip liner to me seemed outdated and unnecessary. Why complicate my lip look with one more product?

My whole way of thinking about liner changed when I stopped in at Bergdorf Goodman on 5th Avenue in NYC on September 10, 2010 for Fashion’s Night Out. Vogue‘s Anna Wintour hosts the exciting night filled with fashion and beauty parties and events all over the city. Stores keep their doors open late and people sweep in from the streets to sip champagne and explore!

My friends and I decided to have our makeup done at the Yves Saint Laurent counter to start off the night right. After applying a full face of makeup, my YSL makeup artist whipped out a lip liner. I assured the sweet girl that I really didn’t use lip liner and that we could skip that step, but she insisted and I relented. She lined my lips with YSL’s Dessin Des Lovres liner in #17 Rose and then filled them in until they were completely covered with the color. Not only did I love the soft pink shade, the makeup artist just followed up the liner with a sheer gloss!

I spent the rest of the night running all over the city visiting different stores and events and at the end of the night, my lip color hadn’t faded in the least! I went back to Bergdorfs and bought the liner the very next day.

The Black Swan star will shoot a sexy advertorial film for the best-selling men’s fragrance.

Actor Vincent Cassel has been known for years as quite a seductive presence on film, most recently as the lethario director in Black Swan. One beauty company will again capitalize on the allure of the French actor: Yves Saint Laurent has tapped the actor again to star in a seductive new short film for their best-selling men’s fragrance. Tres bien, no? Read on for more details, beauty (and sexy French actor) fans!

WWD reports that the alluring actor was tapped by YSL to reprise his role as the face of their best-selling men’s fragrance, La Nuit de L’Homme, but this time as part of a short film/video advertisement. Inspired by their working relationship, the actor brought his Black Swan director, Darren Aronofsky to the table and the group worked together on what will undoubtedly be a very seductive video!

The concept? It shows Cassel playing a character who spends the evening going to various locations and playing games of seduction with multiple women – all in the course of one evening. The short film, which took three full days to shoot in five locations in Paris during mid-December, was based on a script created by Aronofsky that was inspired by Søren Kierkegaard’s “The Seducer’s Diary. ”

Don’t think of Cassel’s character as a lothario, though. “We liked it because it’s at the same time La Nuit de L’Homme and La Nuit de Femme,” said Nathalie Durán, YSL deputy general manager. “The woman in the Saint Laurent world is absolutely free as an authority on her life, so can’t become a prey just for the sake of talking about seduction.”

Look for a five-minute version to hit the Internet (and more classic formats for TV and movie theaters) in March in Europe and to hit US shores sometime in the second quarter of this year.

Kim Kardashian has been one busy lady this season — at least when it comes to shopping. The chic starlet tells us how she manages to get red carpet ready sans stylist!

Most gals in Hollywood rely on a savvy stylist to help them get glam for red carpet premieres, but not Camilla Belle! I got to catch up with the starlet, who looked breathtaking in a beige strapless Yves Saint Laurent complete with cascading ruffles, at the premiere of Armida at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC on Apr. 12, where she told me she likes “taking risks” in the wardrobe department. I had to ask how she managed to pick such a gorgeous gown and was shocked when she told me, “I don’t have a stylist, I never have!” Can you believe it? Judging by the high fashion frocks she often wears I was very surprised.

So, how does she manage to look so totally put together on her own? “My mom is always helping me out in the style department,” she said. Aw, isn’t that sweet? Considering Camilla’s mom is Brazilian fashion designer Cristina Routh, she sure is getting more than just an opinion!

I love going shopping with my mom and getting her feedback, so I had to ask, does Camilla experience the same hit or miss results most girls do? You know how sometimes your mom can really impress you and pick up something so cute but then she comes back with something so not your style? It turns out that isn’t the case! “Usually she’s spot on, and she’s the one looking at me asking, ‘What are you thinking?’” she said. I guess when you have a mom in the know who needs a stylist!
