The singer loves her little boy so much that she took time off a film shoot to see him!

Jennifer Hudson is such a devoted mother that she would fly around the world to see her child — even for a day!

Jennifer, 29, spoke with Good Morning America on March 21 and revealed that during her four month shoot on Winnie she flew in from South Africa to see her one-year-old son David for just one day!

“You know what?” Hudson said of the flight. “My momma would do it for me, so I need to go and see about my child, and I hopped on that plane. That’s things my mother would have done. Everything I do, I do from example, like, ‘What she would have done for us.’”

Jennifer is such a devoted mother — what a story!

Photos have finally been released of Jennifer Hudson‘s new movie Winnie and she looks like a natural first lady. Her lacey sleeves, simple up-do, and tiara are perfect for a beautiful starlet like Jennifer.

The 28-year-old is filming in South Africa with co-star Terrence Howard, who plays South African President Nelson Mandela. Jennifer’s character, Winnie Mandela, is a loyal wife and mother who is later jailed for false accusations.

Based on a true story, Jennifer has some large shoes to fill portraying a historic woman like Winnie. But we have no doubt she can do it. After all, she is a Dream Girl!

Jennifer Hudson is in Cannes, France showing off an even svelter body than we’ve seen recently and boy, does she look amazing! Jennifer signed on as a Weight Watchers spokeswoman after the birth of her son, David Otunga Jr last August and hasn’t stopped losing weight since. She’s in town promoting her new biopic, Winnie in which she portrays Winnie Mandel, ex-wife to Terrence Howard’s Nelson Mandela. For a photo call for her film on May 16, Jennifer wore a body conscious blue dress that looked absolutely stunning. Earlier in the day she sported an equally flattering grey frock. “Every day I look in the mirror and my face or my body is changing. I still can’t believe it!” Jennifer writes in her Weight Watchers blog. She was once a size 22 and now is a size 8! “It is fun to see the changes in my body and my face. I love taking pics, but I love it even more now. I have cheekbones and definition along my jaw line that I have never seen,” she continues. We don’t blame you for loving to take pics, Jennifer! You look so great and we love looking at photos of you. Keep up the good work!
