Nikki Blonsky can hear the bells again — but this time, they’re chiming the NBC theme song! The Hairspray star is joining the second season of Smash, NBC confirms to HollywoodLife.com, though details of her role are being kept under wraps for now.

Wes Taylor, who plays Bobby on Smash, spilled the beans Sept. 17 when he tweeted the above photo of himself goofing around with Nikki on set.

Nikki is the latest addition to the star-studded second season, which already includes huge names like Jennifer Hudson, Sean Hayes and Jesse L. Martin.
