Kristen Stewart, 22, is known for being shy and private so we were shocked when she bared her breasts as Marylou in On the Road and took an edgy role in Welcome To The Rileys. Now, she’s speaking out about how she is different than the characters she plays!

Kristen told the November issue of Marie Claire UK, “After I’d been playing a stripper in Welcome to the Rileys, I was definitely not wearing enough clothing. I looked back and thought ‘That’s so not me,’ but it was fun.”

In real life, Kristen prefers sweatshirts and sneakers.

She also spoke about the fashion choices of Bella from Twilight: “I always wanted Bella to be unassuming, yet cooler than everyone else. We both wear lots of casual clothes. But her actual style is very far away from mine.”

She has previously spoken about her scandalous work. About her nude scene in On The Road, Kristen said she expected the shock: “People are really predictable. I completely expected that,” Kristen told E! Online’s Marc Malkin at the MTV Sneak Peek of Snow White and the Huntsman.

She added, “I can’t say it’s not a little bit jarring, but it’s jarring in the right way. I wanted it to be. I’m really proud of it.”

Apparently many of the words we’ve heard from Kristen Stewart‘s mouth on the big screen are actually her own! The 21-year-old actress’s Welcome to the Rileys director, Jake Scott, revealed Kristen doesn’t like to memorize lines…she’d rather just improvise!

“Kristen improvises everything,” Jake told Hey U Guys during an interview promoting the Welcome to the Rileys DVD release, which is Feb. 27. “She can be quite frustrating for a writer because she kind of just makes her own words up. She takes what’s written on the page and then just makes her own sense of it.”

The best part? K-Stew doesn’t ask for permission first!

“She wouldn’t warn you she was doing that, she would just change the words,” her director explained.

We have a feeling Kristen had to follow her Twilight scripts a little more closely than that, otherwise there would have been outrage from Twi-hards when Bella Swan said completely different lines than she did in the book.

Not only is K-Stew beautiful, but she has a plan to make the world a better place!

Many twentysomethings would be blinded by the windfall experienced by the actors in The Twilight Saga. But Kristen Stewart wants to use her massive paychecks to help sex workers in need!

In the Feb. 2011 issue of Vogue, Kristen, 20, said, “Anytime I hear that somebody’s really rich, the first question is ‘Do you do anything with it? Or do you, like, chill? You just sit on it?’”

The idea to do something relevant with her wealth gestated during the filming of 2010′s Welcome To The Rileys. In order to portray a teenage runaway caught up in the sex trade, Kristen did research which inspired her to set up halfway houses for those who wish to escape the lifestyle.

“That would be amazing,” Kristen said. “Right now it’s the thing I feel most connected to.”

We think Kristen has a big heart and amazing plan, and given that she allegedly made $25 million for the Breaking Dawn films with a percentage of the back end, she has a lot to give!

Was Kristen Stewart Oscar-worthy in Welcome To The Rileys — some people think so. But her seasoned costars James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo definitely deserve nods for the portrayal of their tortured characters.The film centers around Doug [James] and Lois [Melissa] who’ve been married for 30 years, but ever since their 15-year-old daughter died in a tragic car accident three years earlier, their marriage  has been torn apart by grief and guilt. When Doug goes to New Orleans for a convention, he runs into Mallory [Kristen], a 16-year-old runaway stripper who reminds him of his dead daughter, he makes the emotional decision to try bigtime to save her from her life of drugs, sex, and poverty.

Gandolfini is gripping in his role as a depressed, middle-aged guy, and Kristen mastered her stripper moves so convincingly she actually got offered a role as a real-life stripper by a local strip club owner who saw her rehearse.

But the breakthrough performance that I’m worried will be overlooked is that of the agoraphobic, heartbroken wife, Lois. Melissa did such an amazing job with this character that I could feel her pain in every scene. Every parent who has ever lost a child will undoubtedly relate to Melissa’s emotional performance.

If you’re looking for a tear jerker, tug at your heartstrings kind of movie, then this is the one for you. And if you’re  a K-Stew, fan then this is a must- see too.  I give it the HL stamp of approval

Kristen Stewart might have walked two red carpets in three days sans Robert Pattinson, but she appeared to be having a great time! The 20-year-old actress showed up to The Cinema Society & Everlon Diamond Knot Collection screening of her upcoming film Welcome To The Rileys Oct. 19, looking leggy and very happy — even without Rob at her side.

This was the second carpet Kristen had strutted down in just a matter of days. The Twilight star attended the Spike TV’s Scream 2010 Awards Oct. 16, and then immediately jetted of to NYC to promote her dramatic new flick, also starring James Gandolfini.

Kristen, who gives her breakout performance in the Jake Scott directed film, opted not to watch her film, and slipped out for a quick bite. But she did manage to change out of her 3-inch Louboutins and into a pair of jeans and converse, in order to attend the after party at the Soho Grand Hotel. K-Stew mingled with guests like Gerard Butler, Russell Simmons, Danny DeVito, and Christina Hendricks, who sipped DeLeon tequila cocktails well into the night.

Some of the guests like Olivia Palermo, Petra Nemcova and the film’s star, Melissa Leo, donned the main sponsor’s signature Diamond Knot jewelry, which included: Sparkly Erlon Pave Diamond Knot Leverback Earrings, and Everlon Diamond Knot Layered Chain Necklaces!

Kristen stepped out to celebrate the NYC premiere of her dramatic new film and she revealed she was so good at playing a stripper, she could’ve gotten a job as a real one!

Kristen Stewart‘s knows how to work a pole — well at least according to her! The 20-year-old actress attended The Cinema Society & Everlon Diamond Knot Collection screening of her upcoming film Welcome to the Rileys at the Tribeca Grand Hotel Oct. 18, and she was completely candid about preparing for her role as Mallory, a troubled 16-year-old stripper in New Orleans.

“Well, I mean, like, doing this movie … one shocking thing was to find how easy it is [to flaunt your sexuality],” she told MTV. “Like, I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job.”

Not that it was easy work: “I pole-danced for two weeks,” she says. “I had bruises all over my legs … it hurts!”

Since Kristen spends the majority of the movie running around New Orleans in fishnets, lacy bras and platforms, she revealed that she got hit on during a lot of her scenes!

“And then walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally could be like boom, boom, boom, done,” she said. “But I would never do that.”

As soon as the premiere was over, Kristen jetted off to the after party at the Club Room of the Soho Grand Hotel, where she partied with A-listers like Gerard Butler, Christina Hendricks, Danny DeVito, Olivia Palermo and fellow castmate James Gandolfini.

And get this — she hadn’t ever seen Gandolfini’s show, a little series called The Sopranos.

Kristen Stewart may prefer her jeans and Converse, but the girl seriously knows how to work a red carpet! It was evident when she showed up looking skinny and chic at the The Cinema Society & Everlon Diamond Knot Collection’s screening of Welcome To The Rileys at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in NYC on Oct. 18. Clad in a lacey, one-shoulder Valentino resort 2011 mini with bow-detail on her shoulder, black Brian Atwood pumps, an updo, and bright red lips it was the quintessential get-up for this upscale NYC event — although I wish she would’ve cracked a smile!

While she looks beautiful and I love the look from head to toe, I wish she would’ve owned it more, especially considering just a couple of nights ago she oozed confidence in another one-shoulder mini at Spike TV’s Scream Awards.
