Wanya Morris (born Wanya Jermaine Morris in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1973) is an R&B singer in the group, Boyz II Men. He joined the band originally called Unique Attraction in 1987, when he was a high school freshman at Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Wanya’s voice stood out over the years as the tenor of the group. In 1997, while on the Evolution tour, he developed a polyp on his vocal cords and the group postponed the tour. Most recently, the group played the teen angels on Grease: Live, and Wanya will compete on Dancing with the Stars season 22.
