Is MTV's 'Jersey Shore' Season Six Doomed?

Now that Mike ‘The Situation’ checked himself into rehab and Snooki is pregnant, how can the show continue? I have a feeling this could be the end of my favorite reality show!

Is GTL gone for good? It appears that MTV’s cash cow known as Jersey Shore is falling apart before my very eyes. But come on, did execs really think they could keep these twenty-somethings partying non-stop forever? I can tell you one thing, I won’t watch the show without Mike or Snooki, that’s for sure!

MTV is in a tough spot. First off, if Mike parties hard in season six, everyone is going to feel like MTV is enabling his addiction for ratings. The guy just checked himself into rehab for a prescription pill and alcohol addiction. It doesn’t sound like Mike should be anywhere near the shore. But then again, I have sources telling me that Mike might be doing all of this for attention, since all the focus is on Snooki right now.

Since my favorite itty-bitty pickle lover is preggers — is it really safe for Snooki, who will be about six months pregnant come June, to film at the shore house this summer? I definitely don’t think so. Even though I selfishly want to see Snooki act like a complete mess and Mike go psycho at the club, these guys need to chill out.

This is what leads me to my issue, does MTV need to call off the show before faking scenes or possibly causing health issues for the cast? If they put Snooki in partying situations, it could hurt her baby! If Mike is forced to go out all the time, he could relapse! Should MTV shut down the show while it’s still on a high note?

We already have Snooki and JWoww‘s spinoff and Pauly D will give us a bit of a fist pumping fix with his upcoming reality show set to air on March 29. Do you feel like Jersey Shore has lost it’s GTL sparkle?

I definitely won’t watch a show with just Ronnie and Sammi fighting, and Vinny moping around the house. But I think Pauly D is adorable … so maybe I could be convinced.

Pauly D's Reality Spinoff Gets Official Premiere Date

We told you Pauly D was getting his own MTV reality show and it’s officially around the corner — it debuts on March 29 — will you tune in to watch?

Move over Jersey Shore because the Pauly D Project is headed your way. Entertainment Weekly is officially reporting that the Pauly D Project will premiere after the premiere of Punk’d which has been off the air for five years!

The show will follow Pauly as he follows his dream as a deejay and lands a contract with 50 Cent’s G-Note Records and then on the road as he opens for Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour.

The finale of the fifth season of Jersey Shore is March 15, so this comes at the perfect time. It’ll air Thursday’s at 10:30pm!

Vinny quit the show last week but when the cast shows up to his house to get him to come back he actually agrees! Is it too soon?

Vinny can’t stay away from his GTL crew anymore! The Jan. 26 episode of Jersey Shore has a happy ending when Vinny agrees to come back to the house!

Pauly D, Snooki, and the rest of the MTV crew can’t live without Vinny. Even though he’s dealing with major depression, he realizes that he needs his boys and girls to help him through it.

Snooki throws a suprise party for Mike and Pauly D. So she didn’t forget about Mike’s birthday! See, Snooki and Mike aren’t always fighting!

The crew heads to Vinny’s house in Staten Island to kidnap him and luckily he agrees to come back with them. Even though his mom was in tears at the end of the driveway as he left, he decided to join his reality show peeps.

We’re so happy he’s back but will he stay?

Tune in next week at 10pm ET on MTV to see what happens!

It’s Pauly D’s 31st birthday on the Jan. 19 episode of Jersey Shore and he wants birthday sex! Are you upset with how he treated this girl?

Don’t get in Pauly D‘s way when he’s on a sex mission. The MTV star invites a girl back to the Jersey Shore house on the upcoming episode and when she won’t sleep with him he calls her a cab. Did you find this appalling or disgusting?

We know the guys like to hook up with random girls and bring them home and kick them out the next day. But do you think this is getting a bit out of control?

'Jersey Shore' Recap: Vinny Quits The Show & Goes Home

Vinny has been suffering from anxiety at the shore so he packs his bags and goes home — will he be gone forever?

Vinny is outta there! The Jan. 12 episode of Jersey Shore was very emotional. Vinny can’t handle all the partying and he really just wants to go back to his family — so that’s exactly what he does!

Everyone in the house tried their best to put Vinny in a good mood. Ronnie took Vinny to the boardwalk to play games and go on the rides, but that didn’t work. The girls try to talk to Vinny but that doesn’t work either!

Finally Pauly D decides to try and persuade Vinny to stay in the house. Everyone goes to the club but Pauly stays behind but even that fails. Vinny refuses to listen to Pauly and packs his bags. Pauly is such a good friend that he actually helps Vinny pack.

Everyone is at club Karma and has no idea that Vinny has gone home. Boy are they in for a big surprise!

The rest of the episode was really boring. Snooki and Jionni get into a big fight because she gets wasted at the club but they work it all out before the night is over.

This episode solely focused on Vinny’s depression and it was really sad.

Jersey Shore Premiere Recap: Snooki & Jionni Get Back Together But Mike Is Still Saying He Slept With Her

Our favorite guidos and guidettes leave Italy and head back to Seaside and Mike still swears he slept with Snooki!

Jersey Shore is back! The season five premiere of Jersey Shore premiered on Jan. 5 and there was sex, fighting and of course tears! Can you believe Snooki and Mike The Situation are still fighting about their alleged hookup?

Snooki has got a major problem on her hands and she refuses to face the music. Even though Snooki and Jionni got back together within the first 5 minutes of the premiere, he still has no idea that Snooki most like slept with Mike.

You know how they say the truth will set you free? Clearly Snooki doesn’t believe it that. Instead she’d prefer to subject her boyfriend Jionni to whispers behind his back at the bar instead of admitting she slept with Mike … or did she?

The cast is happy to be back in Jersey but they all miss their families and significant others. Luckily, the manager of their boardwalk t-shirt shop invites them to a bar for drinks and it turns out to be a surprise party with the entire cast’s family and friends!

But there’s still major problems with Mike and the cast. Everyone is pissed at Mike for the problems he caused in Italy so no one wants to live in the same room as him. believe it or not, he is stuck back in his old room with Ronnie and Sammi! Remember all the drama in Italy when Mike got involved in their relationship and Mike ended up in the hospital? This will not end well.

Meanwhile, Pauly D decides to hook up with Snooki’s best friend Ryder, but she’s already slept with Mike’s best friend and also Vinny. This too is a bad decision and we can expect to see a lot more of Ryder I’m sure of it.

The saddest part of the premiere was Vinny being completely depressed. After he sees his family at the bar it makes him miss them terribly. He starts thinking that maybe the show and the shore house isn’t fun anymore and he might pack his things and go. But you’ll have to wait until next week to see what happens.

Mike is getting on everyone’s nerves and Deena won’t stop trying to sleep with Pauly D. — are these two the most annoying cast members ever?

Jersey Shore in Italy might as well have been renamed to “Sex, Fighting and More Sex.” The Oct. 13 episode of the over-the-top MTV reality show showed another horrible side of Mike The Situation — this guy just doesn’t get it.

The first thing I’d like to point out is poor Pauly D. He is under attack from the ultimate meatball — Deena! That girl will not stop trying to “smush” him and in order to avoid her crawling into his bed, he had to bring home grenades! Yup, he is forced to have sex with tons of women in order to keep himself from sleeping with Deena. Tough life!

When the cast goes to a club, Mike picks a fight with a huge group of locals. He starts screaming at them and hurling slurs, and the group starts screaming “shame, shame, shame.” Finally someone put Mike in his place. That guy is an embarrassment and I’m ashamed he’s over in Italy representing Americans — truly.

The cast heads back to their Italian mansion, and Snooki and Deena decide to get into the hot tub and stay in there until 6am! Who doesn’t love two meatballs getting all pruney?! We know Pauly isn’t into it!

But Snooki is most likely hiding out since she flashed her va-jay-jay at the club, once again! And she wonders why her boyfriend Gianni left her?! JWoww and Sammi have finally had enough of Snooki’s immature ways and they decide that they have the most in common and go off by themselves. That won’t last.

The ungrateful bunch have their final Sunday dinner together and they spend the entire time talking about how much they miss Jersey and going tanning. But then Mike drops the bomb that he most likely will not go to film season five at the Jersey Shore house. Yup, poor Mikey. The guidos and guidettes aren’t buying it and they don’t beg him to say.

Tune in next week Oct. 20 for the Jersey Shore season finale!

'Jersey Shore' Recap: Sammi & Ronnni Get Back Together & Deena Hooks Up With A Girl!

There was so much drama and to top it off Mike told everyone Snooki cheated on her boyfriend with him!

The Jersey Shore crew is falling a part in Italy! The Aug. 18 episode of Jersey Shore was ridiculously dramatic. Not only did Ronnie and Sammi decide to give things another try, Deena decided to become bi-curious!

For once the fights didn’t have to do with Sammi and Ronnie. The lovers decided to talk out their problems over a beautiful Italian sunset. Whether it was the good wine or just the romantic atmosphere, they said they loved each other and got back together. Let’s just see if they can make it through the rest of the summer without any major blowouts!

Meanwhile, Ronnie got drunk and told JWoww and Sammi that Mike confessed he and Snooki hooked up while she was dating Gianni. Sammi freaked out, confronted Snooki and that started WWIII.

Snooki started screaming and crying while denying the cheating allegations against her. The pickle lover called Mike a liar and told him she’s not in his corner anymore. No one in the house knew who to believe.

While all this is going down, Deena is hooking up with Erica one of the twins they brought home from the club. Mike thought he was going to have a threesome with the twins but Deena made sure to change that.

Shockingly, Ericka, who claims to be a virgin, decided to hook up with Vinny midway through hooking up with Deena. So the girl crawls into bed with Vinny — what?! Did she not think people were going to see this footage?

The episode ends with a dramatic confrontation between Mike and Ronnie over the Snooki cheating scandal. We saw a trailer for next week’s episode which shows Mike going to the hospital after Ronnie punches him — uh oh!
