Nickelodeon announced on Friday August 10 that the third season of Victorious would be its last.

“This was the network’s decision – not mine,” creator Dan Schneider wrote in a blog post.

Unfortunately, Nickelodeon rarely goes past 60 episodes of a series, but Dan was hoping they would make an exception this time around.

“I would love to have made more than 60 of ‘Victorious,’” he admitted, “but that’s how it usually goes.”

Victorious star Victoria Justice took the high road and tweeted, “3 Emmy nominations is not a bad send off… #GoingOutOnTop #LoveUguys :{)”

The final season will premiere this fall.

The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson is completely smitten with Victorious cutie, Ariana Grande!

“They’ve been seeing each other since the beginning of the year,” an insider told Life & Style.

Ariana, 18, even joined Josh, 19, for the premiere of The Hunger Games on March 12, but the two opted not to walk to the red-carpet together.

“They’ve been trying to keep it low-profile because it’s still rather new,” the insider revealed.

Victoria Justice seems to have it all: a bangin’ bod, honed fashion skills, a hit show, an incredible voice — AND a solid head on her shoulders. While so many young starlets struggle to stay grounded after making it big, Victoria, 18, has stayed an incredible role model to her young fans. HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively with the Victorious star at the Badgley Mischka fashion show in New York City Sept. 13 about staying focused, her first time at NYFW and her upcoming solo album! HL: How has it been at your first time at New York Fashion Week?
Victoria: It’s been great. It’s a little overwhelming. There are so many flashes and so many pictures being taken. I can’t wait to see the show and I just met Mark and James, the designers, and they were so nice to me, so I’m very happy to be here.

HL: Is this your first fashion show?
Victoria: I went to a Teen Vogue fashion show the other day, so this is my second fashion show, but this is my first time in New York doing fashion week. I love it. It’s beautiful. It’s exciting. I’m excited to see the new trends and all the beautiful new clothes they are making.

HL: How has Victorious been going?
Victoria: Victorious is going really great. We’re getting ready to do season three in the beginning of October, so I’m going to be recording new music for the show and writing new music for the shown and also writing for my solo album, so I’m going to be very busy.

HL: What’s your writing process like?
Victoria: It’s going really great. My schedule’s been crazy, so when I find time I’ll try to write things or go to the studio. But it all comes from my own personal experience. Some of it is probably going to be more pop and dancy, but I want to have a couple emotional ballads in there too. Stuff that comes from the heart.

HL: Do you try to get out and see concerts to support your peers often?
Victoria: I have not been to any concerts recently. I’ve been to two Coldplay concerts recently, they are one of my favorite bands and I’m going to go to a Bon Iver concert on the nineteenth in LA.

HL: When will you release your solo album?
Victoria: My own album, I’m not sure yet. I just know I’m working really really hard on it and I want to put my heart and soul into it.

HL: You’re so talented at both acting and singing — which one is more of your passion?
Victoria: I feel really lucky that I’ve been able to do both right now because I’ve loved each one ever since I’ve been a little girl. And I’ve also just filmed my first leading role in a feature film. It’s called Fun Size. It’s with Paramount and it comes out next October. Chelsea Handler plays my mom in it and Johnny Knoxville is in it and it’s a great cast. And Josh Schwartz, who created Gossip Girl and the The O.C. and Chuck is directing it, so I’m really excited about that.

HL: What was it like working with Chelsea Handler?
Victoria: She’s hilarious. Working with Chelsea was great. I didn’t really know what to expect. She was really, really friendly and nice to me. You know, she’s really very dry and sarcastic, like you would expect. But she’s a really cool girl.

HL: You’ve managed to remain such a good role model to your young fans during a tough age. How do you do it?
Victoria: I’m just trying to stay true to who I am. I’ve been so busy working and I’m very focused on what I want right now. So I think that’s what kind of keeps me grounded and keeps me focused.

Victoria Justice, 18, is working on a new solo album as soon as she gets back to Los Angeles — and we cannot wait!

“I’m going to be working on music for a while before I film Season 3 of Victorious,” the 18-year-old starlet told MTV News.

So what kind of music will Victoria be singing in her upcoming album? She doesn’t quite give anything away, but says it will be something we haven’t heard from her in the past.

“I think my solo music will be different from what people have heard from the show. When I do my own stuff, it will probably be a little more mature, and finding my own path,” she said.

Her show’s soundtrack album, also titled Victorious, is set to release Aug. 2. Check out more from her interview below!

As far as good girls in Hollywood go, they don’t get much more clean cut than Victoria Justice. However, the 18-year-old starlet’s 26-year-old boyfriend, Ryan Rottman, was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles July 7 — and she’s told us before she has no tolerance for drug and alcohol abuse. Is their relationship doomed?

According to TMZ, Ryan — who’s been openly dating Victoria since April — hopped a curb in his car, was pulled over by the police and blew a .19, which is more than double the legal limit in California. He was arrested, taken to jail and released a few hours later.

Interestingly enough, Ryan’s really good pals – Zac Efron and Rumer Willis — were both in the car behind him during his arrest and even stopped to talk to the police as well, before driving away.

Earlier this week, Victoria and Ryan looked happier than ever as they took a leisurely bike ride in Los Angeles, even stopping for a quick kiss. However, Ryan’s arrest cannot make Victoria happy.

As the star of the hit Nickelodeon kids’ show, Victorious, the actress has a squeaky clean image and goes above and beyond to be an excellent role model for her fans.

She told HollywoodLife.com earlier this year, “Drinking and smoking is not something that is going to help me or something that interests me, so I think it’s just something that I wanted to share and be open with.”

She’s over the moon right now,” a source says after we saw the new couple together at the Kids’ Choice Awards April 2 and at a Lakers’ game April 3. “Ryan and Victoria started hanging out a bunch after he filmed his episode of Victorious. They are just having fun with each other. We’ll see where it goes.”

For those of you who didn’t see Ryan on Victorious, he played a kid named Ryder who asked Tori to sing a duet with him at the Full Moon Jam, but turned out to only be using her for a good grade. Obviously, we’d hate to see art imitate life, so we got the 411 on Ryan…and he seems like a pretty cool guy. Here’s what you need to know:

Victoria Justice has a celebrity lookalike in our midst named Nina Dobrev — and we’re not the only ones who think so! Last week, US Weekly accidentally published a photo of Victoria, 18, in a feature about Nina — and we couldn’t help but ask Victoria about the mix up during an interview with the Nickelodeon starlet March 22.

“I’ve never really had a doppelgänger in my life, so this is like my first experience with this thing,” Victoria — who stars in her own TV show, Victorious – told us. “I thought that was hilarious the fact [US Weekly] put a picture of me thinking it was her.”

Victoria said it’s not only the media who gets confused between her and The Vampire Diaries star — their own friends have mistaken them before too!

“I went to a premiere for a movie Nina did for MTV a while ago.  I was on the red carpet and one of her cast members walked up to me and started kissing and hugging me saying, ‘Nina, you look so beautiful,’” Victoria said, laughing, “I was like, ‘I’m definitely not Nina and I don’t know you!’”

Apparently, Nina, 22, told Victoria she’s had the same experiences with people confusing HER for Victoria.

“I’ve met her a couple of times,” Nina explained. “Both of us were like, ‘People always think I’m you!’ We laughed and it’s pretty funny.”
