Vera Wang believes that this year’s summer obsession is an easy one — t-shirts, and lots of ‘em. Talking to HollywoodLife.com on the red carpet for Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s, hosted by The Cinema Society, Swarovski & Grey Goose on April 29, Vera explained that the warm weather season is the perfect time to get creative while being comfortable and most of all sexy in some great tees.

Vera Wang On T-Shirts: Her Summer Fashion Tip

“I’m kind of a t-shirt girl myself,” Vera said. The t-shirt might sound like a boring thing — like, doesn’t everyone wear t-shirts? But Vera insists that the best fashionistas can make them way more than just a tee. “I like really crave inventive t-shirts,” Vera added.

“Summer’s kind of the moment to really enjoy a t-shirt,” she said. “It could be couture from Givenchy, or me, or it could be Rick Owen.” You can also satisfy your t-shirt cravings at stores with lower price points like Topshop!

Vera stated that she believes t-shirts are the perfect summer article because of their ability to be so many things. They can be cute and sexy, playful and punk, and they really help you express yourself!

“They’re so sensual and sexy and there’s nothing like the summer for that,” Vera says.

Evan Lysacek, 27, reportedly moved into Vera Wang‘s Beverly Hills Mansion in June 2012, after she gave him the opportunity “to stay there for a while,” a source says.

The same source says there  is “something going on,” while another insider comments that Vera, 63, is “just enamored with him and enjoys his company.” The second insider commented that they do not think there is a sexual relationship between the duo.

The two have had a professional relationship for years, with Vera designing many of Evan’s most famous costumes, including for the 2010 Olympics, where he won the gold medal.

This news comes on the heels of Vera’s July 11 announcement that she is separating from husband Arthur Becker after 23 years of marriage.

Vera’s rep had no comment and Evan’s publicist did not respond before the Daily News deadline.

Designer Vera Wang is adding a line of 74 color cosmetics to her Simply Vera Vera Wang line exclusively sold at Kohl’s and Kohls.com, according to WWD. Vera’s line already includes clothing, accessories, shoes and things for the home, so cosmetics seems like an obvious next step! Keep reading to find out what’s next for Vera.

The products come in sleek black packaging and will range in price from $16.50 to $39.50. These aren’t just pretty products — the collection includes treatments like lash lengthening serums and skin balms!

Could Vera possibly branch out any more? Well according to WWD, her daughters, Cecilia and Josephine, are pushing for her to add nail polishes to the collection!

Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only A-lister in attendance at  Vera Wang‘s SS12 show — a pregnant Beyonce was there, too!

Though the show was slightly delayed, guest were thrilled by the headlining celebrity appearances at the Vera Wang Spring/Summer 2012 show this morning!

We all know how much Kim loves Vera Wang, so it should come to no surprise that the reality star showed up!

And as a if Kim K. appearance isn’t enough to create a major buzz – Beyonce arrived nearly a half hour after the show was slated to start, accompanied by her sister Solange Knowles.

Before making her way over to the Vera Wang show in platform heels, Bey and her bump were spotted at the Mercedes Benz Star Lounge chatting away!

While Beyonce opt for a short tulle khaki-colored cocktail dress, Kim wore a long one-shouldered blue evening gown paired with silver accessories and fiery red lips!  Both ladies look stunning -as always- but maybe a bit overdressed for a morning fashion show.

Kim Kardashian‘s special day was definitely over the top — from three custom-made couture gowns to her towering cake, nothing stood out quite like her diamonds! Kim enlisted Lorraine Schwartz to craft her blinding bling — including the $2.5 million headpiece she wore down the aisle. The 65-carat sparkler was inspired by Audrey Hepburn.

The reality star complimented the headpiece with $5 million earrings — while the 28-carat drops may seem extravagant, the earrings were also very useful, designed so that they could be worn three different ways. “Something borrowed was the jewels by Lorraine,” Kim told People magazine.

One of the most personal pieces she donned was her wedding present from Kris. The groom gave his bride a bracelet with a knot signifying their nuptials. Dangling from the knot are their initials — two ‘K’s’. Kim wore the sparkler on the same hand as her 20.5 carat, $2 million emerald-cut engagement ring.

For their wedding bands, Lorraine crafted a black gold band with black diamonds for Kris. The band matched his custom-made cuff links. Kim wore a diamond eternity band with more than 15 carats of emerald-cut stones.

While most brides stress over finding the perfect dress, Kim Kardashian eliminated the process of narrowing down her options by wearing not one, not two, but THREE dresses on Aug. 20, when she wed Kris Humphries in California. All custom-made by close friend and designer Vera Wang, the reality star looked like a princess coming down the aisle in a full frock — but that wasn’t the only dress she debuted that night!

In this new shot from the wedding promo, Kim’s second dress is visible. Her second get-up, which definitely revealed more cleavage, was better suited for dancing. She even switched up her ‘do, removing the Lorraine Schwartz headpiece and wearing her hair to one side with a sparkling barrette kept it in place.

Her first look was an ivory ballgown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train, while the second was an ivory georgette mermaid gown that enhanced her figure, complete with hand pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice. The skirt had hand cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery. For her third look, Kim slipped into an ivory bias-cut crepe back satin gown with V-neck and circle skirt.

So far, her full frock was my fave — although I can’t make an accurate decision until I see all three!
