24-year-old Nina Dobrev plays the ever-so-sultry Elena Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries, and her vamp charm is unstoppable in this fabulous prom gown. As if the stunner didn’t already have enough power over Damon, (played by Ian Somerhalder), and Stefan, (played by Paul Wesley), she’s sure to turn up the drama at prom in tonight’s episode! How amazing is her dress?

Elena Gilbert’s Prom Dress:

Regardless of which brother escorts her to the dance, she will still look stunning in this flawless gown by Theia. After Nina rocked the look, it’s sure to be a hit this prom season. While there’s no denying the fact that Elena will steal the spotlight in the strapless crimson gown there’s a chance that it could end up covered in blood before the night is over — oh no! The character’s devilish charm is sure to be vamped up in this silk organza ball gown that retails at $1,495!

The floor-length gown features a full skirt that really compliments Nina’s svelte frame. The sweetheart neckline is an interesting contrast on the not-so-sweet “humanity-free” vampire. The printed organza was definitely a good look for the brown-haired beauty. She looks so innocent with her curls pulled slightly off her face.

We’re not sure that Stefan will go through with his plan to leave Elena, especially once he sees her all dolled up. We think she looks beautiful in her Theia prom gown, but what do you think? Be sure to catch Elena in action at prom during the April 18 episode!

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder look so in love! The CW stars just couldn’t have looked more adorable when they were spotted at the airport on Dec. 26. We can’t help but wonder what they gave each other for Christmas!

We told you that Ian, 34, and Nina, 23, were spotted Christmas tree shopping in Atlanta on Dec. 3 and Us Weekly reported shortly after that they are doing great!

“Nina and Ian are excited to celebrate the holidays together,” a source said. Plus, they spent Thanksgiving with his family!

“It’s a sign they’re taking things to the next level,” the source added. “There are no obligations but work and living together — their relationship is at its best here!”

We’ve told you before that they live together in Atlanta and the two have recently started talking about their relationship a bit more. Nina told Self in the Nov. 2012 issue that guy to be a happy person. You’ll laugh and enjoy life more.”

Nina also told Seventeen her other boyfriend requirements: “I think people should be with the person who makes them smile. The minute you’re not smiling anymore, you shouldn’t be in the relationship. That’s what you figure out by having good or bad experiences with boyfriends and finding out what qualities you like and don’t like in a person. It’s part of growing up and learning. You should always be with the people who make you feel happiest.”

Ian Somerhalder, the smoldering star of hit television show The Vampire Diaries, is dying to put a ring on his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev!  But sources close to the stars say that Nina is in no rush!

Ian and Nina are the cutest couple, and friends of Ian say that the hot young actor is “desperate to marry” his gorgeous girlfriend. But an insider revealed to Star Magazine that Nina is more focused on her career than starting a family!

“Ian is 10 years older than she is, and more than ready to make it official.  But he said he understands her need to wait a little longer,” the source stated. According to this insider, Nina wants to put off an engagement for at least five more years, but Ian is really hoping he can change her mind!

“Ian will put a ring on it the moment Nina gives him the thumbs-up,” said the insider.

Who would have thought that Nina Dobrev, 22, and Ian Somerhalder, 32, liked some good ole southern cooking! HollywoodLife.com can tell you that the adorable couple have been spotted more than once at Parish Restaurant in the swanky neighborhood of The Highlands in Atlanta, Ga., not too far from where they live while down south shooting their hit CW show!The restaurant is located in an old terminal building, the only remaining structure from an old pipe factory built in 1890 — how creepily romantic! The awesome space features Parisian sconces, red chandeliers and vaulted interior brick arches — this sounds like the perfect place for their onscreen characters Damon and Elena!

The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev made the rounds at Comic-Con this past weekend, and rocked some very matchy-matchy beauty looks! Which shade of lipstick do you prefer on Nina?She first attended the Camp Playboy party July 22, where she rocked an red tinted lip — the perfect compliment to her pink multi-colored dress. Then on July 23, she showed up to the Entertainment Weekly party with a red-hot lip that was the exact shade of her Brian Atwood pumps!

Ian, 32, has always played coy about his true feelings for Nina, 22, but he was quick to smirk, “Who am I most excited to see tonight? Nina Dobrev!” at the video awards. It certainly took you long enough, Ian!

Although he and Nina have taken a long time in announcing their coupledom — much longer than I, personally, would be able to stand for — every relationship is different. We don’t know for certain whether the two actually were just best friends to begin with, whose relationship morphed into something more substantial over time.

You can’t gauge the speed of your own by a friend’s. You’ll know when you and your man are official by the way he acts towards you, and how frequently you see him. For example, if you’re going on dates with a guy twice a week for two months, your relationship is progressing at a much slower rate than the girl who goes out with a guy five times a week for two months. If you don’t have the patience it takes to wait for the guy you’re with to come around, then he simply isn’t the right guy for you.

If you work together, the situation gets a tad stickier. You need to be very careful before you get involved with a co-worker, and make sure its the real deal before you announce your affection at the workplace. Not only will your relationship potentially worry your bosses, but a break-up causes friction on the job. Unless you’re sure that you’re in love and it’s going to last — that it’s more than a casual fling — you shouldn’t say anything about your new man.

Nina and Ian were right to wait. Well played!
