The star R&B singer spent his birthday on Thursday with his two little boys doing what kids love doing in October: picking out pumpkins for Halloween!

Usher and his two sons, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, who will be 3 next month, and Naviyd Ely, 2 in December, spent dad’s birthday hunting for pumpkins at a West Hollywood pumpkin patch while the boys were decked out in some scary face paint in the spirit of Halloween. How sweet are these pics of his little monsters?

Usher’s two sons are so energetic, they run him ragged!

The 31-year-old singer, who is divorced from the boys’ mom, Tameka Foster, 37, told People magazine that he still has a good relationship with his ex-wife. “We had to put our issues aside and focus on raising them,” he said. “There will never be another mother for my sons, and I’ll always be their father.”

As for the boys themselves, they’re already showing some interesting personality traits. Cinco, for instance, “is always in everything. He’s an instigator. He’s the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age.”

Just because Usher’s first marriage didn’t work out, though, don’t think he’s not willing to try it again some day. “I still believe in love,” he says. “I believe in marriage. When I fall in love again, everyone will know. I’ll sing about it.”

The singer is constantly chasing after his two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, who are both under the age of 3.

Sure, Usher is almost as famous for his fabulous abs as he is for his super-catchy tunes, but who needs a workout regimen when you’re spending your days running after a pair of toddlers? Two-and-a-half-year-old Usher V and his little brother, Naviyd, 20 months, are clearly love wreaking havoc on dad’s life.

“They have their differences, but they’re definitely brothers,” the proud dad, 31, told People about the boys he had with ex-wife Tameka Foster, 38. “They’re fun to watch together and both have a ton of energy. They can wear me out sometimes, without a doubt.”

His eldest “is always in everything,” the 31-year-old laughs. “He’s the one who leads his brother astray — he’s the instigator. He’ll be like, ‘Hey, let’s swing from the table,’ and his brother will follow him. He’s the one who’s responsible when they get into trouble!”

Somehow, as busy as he’s been raising his sons, Usher was still able to record and release a new album, Versus, at the end of August. Where does he find the time and energy? Hey Usher, let us know your secret!
